The college is autonomous so the curriculum is quite modern. They teach you management subjects too with the core subjects. As i was in the information technology branch i was taught latest technologies. The teaching is quite modern and pratical. They make you do stuffs in labs and try to give you practical knowledge.

College provides intenship to 4th year student in sem 7 and 8. Every department have 2 3 sections and all the sections go alternatively for internship. I am in B section and I had project in 7th sem while section A students in sem 7th had gone for internship and vice versa. Most of the internship provided by college are unpaid.

College offers very good campus placements. Most of the big mass recruiters like Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture comes here. There are some big MNCs like J P Morgan and PwC recruits from the very start of placement season. Average package here is around 4 to 5 LPA and more than 50% of the students gets placed even in recession. I have 2 offer letters currently, one from GlobalLogic - Hitachi and other one is Cognizant.

G H Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur is under MHCET CAP Round so there are scholarship available to those students who gets admitted through CAP Round. They offer MAHA DBT scholarship to SC/ST and EWS category students. The fees of the course is around 1.5 lakh rupees per year. The fees amount fluctuate every year. You pay highest fees in first year then it decrease in second year then more decrease in third year and more in fourth year. Fees never exceeds 1.5 lakh mark. I was under EWS quota so i paid half of the fees amount which was around 90k every year (includes some miscellaneous fees). There is no scholarship available for management quota students.

Overall experience of the college is very good. There is always some activity going on in the campus everyday. Student forum of every department hosts some events weekly. The annual cultural fest is named 'Antragini', technical fest is named 'Technorian' and sports fest is 'Parakram'. The fest is held in the month of february every year.

I was admitted here through MHTCET CAP Round. I was trying for Ramdeobaba College of Engineering but i got this college. The admission process was quite simple. We have been given a date window in which had to do admission.

Faculties here are very good. They act with you like a friend beacuse the age gap is very less. The college have a quite young faculty members mixed with some old members but still they maintain a very good relation with students. The course here is taught in semester pattern. The semester is around of 5 months. In those five months we have to give 3 exams ie 2 unit tests which they call CAE and 1 semester exam. We need to give 2 assignments in 1 semester which they call TAE. The total mark is 75 per subject and you need to get around 25 marks to pass the subject. Out of 75 marks 25 marks is internal and 50 marks is from sem exam. The unit test is of 15 marks and as I said we need to give 2 unit tests the average is taken of the final unit test score. And the TAE ie assignment is of 5 marks each. So basically 25 marks internal is based on unit tests and assignments. So if you internal is around 20 marks and you score 5 marks in end sem exam you will easily pass that subject.

As I am a day scholar I haven't experienced nighlife of the campus but I have my friends in college hostel they told me nightlife is very engaging. There are lot of fast food corner around the campus usually students go there.
