Fees and Financial Aid:

G H Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur is under MHCET CAP Round so there are scholarship available to those students who gets admitted through CAP Round. They offer MAHA DBT scholarship to SC/ST and EWS category students. The fees of the course is around 1.5 lakh rupees per year. The fees amount fluctuate every year. You pay highest fees in first year then it decrease in second year then more decrease in third year and more in fourth year. Fees never exceeds 1.5 lakh mark. I was under EWS quota so i paid half of the fees amount which was around 90k every year (includes some miscellaneous fees). There is no scholarship available for management quota students.

For obc student the tution fees is 62826 rupees,development fees is 18848 rupees, caution fees is 5000, Student Insurance fees is 701 rupees, university enrollment fees is 141 rupees, university consolidated fees is 408 rupees, professional development fees is 3500, admin regulations authority fees is 100 rupees, certification fees is 3000, books fees is 5000 rupees, autonomous exam fees is 8000 rupees

Short review of my college

The total fees is almost 1.36 lakh per year for the general cast and the exam is about 3500 that you have to pay per semester exam but you're are student of SC/ST candidate your fees is about 21,000 per year

The initial fees for 1st year is 170000 for general/open category, whereas we have scholarship available for sc,st,obc, ebc, etc. for me i payed 107000 a year in fees, the complete cost for open category is aprox 650000

Hand on practice on every system and at the last we had to publish a IEEE research paper compulsory
We can access all machines for practicals and can gradually increase our skill set.

Dislikes

Fees system is not that great I mean they should give some time to students to pay there fees.

The increase in tuition fees is quite stable not that much but I found it high somewhere since I belong to a lower middle class family. Hike in tuition fees is barely 2 to 5 percentage. I paid total of around 7 lacs for my course of B. TECH. (IT). I was unable to avail scholarships or any financial ad but there were some types of scholarship schemes for the eligible students which have benefited them throughout. I got placement in MNC and my package is 4.5lacs per annum and during my internship I got around 12 thousand Indian Rupees as stipend.

The fee of BTech is 160000 for open and it varies according to the categories of students as they can take advantage of scholarships if applicable. But you can avail scholarship only if you took admission by qualifying through the cap round.

You'll cost around 160000 if you belong to open category and it's a total fee. But fees varies according to the category if you're selected through cap round. Like as I'm selected through cap round and my category is OBC so I had to pay 96000 and above fee is then by my scholarship.

Second Home

The fee structure consists of the very first year we need to pay some additional fees that include placement cell fees and all. After that only the fees that are scheduled we need to pay for the rest of the year. The fee for my course is only Rs. 97000 per annum.

In my first year my fees were 97000 and in the second year college provided a discount of 5%, 3% if we paid the fees early and in one installment. So in the second year onwards, my fees were 87000 respectively after taking the 5% discount.

The fees do not rise much. In fact, sometimes the fees decrease in 2nd yr. There is a scholarship for OBC, VJ/NT, SC, and ST. In general, there is an EBC scholarship. Also for top 5% students of in each branch get TFWS. I got a job with the role of SDE with 6LPA.
