Faculty:

Approx 1:20 is the faculty to students ratio. Faculties to students relationships is like the mentor to student relationship , they are ready to help even after the lectures are completed. They are educated in their field so we can approach them related to any issues. Major faculties have good networking so they send some of the great potentials to other colleges for internships as well. Personally I liked Minu Pillai , department of electronics and communication because of the way she had clear understanding of the subject and the way of teaching. Some of the faculties I did not like personally was Santhosh Kumar as for him, working was always the top priority but never appreciated the effort of the students. There are mid semester and end semester exams in each semester that is conducted. Along with that quizzes , assignments , lab exams for specific subjects and vivas are conducted. The difficulty of the exam depends on the subject any faculty teaches. In general the difficulty of the exam is medium to hard. 99% students manages to pass the exam as per the standard deviation and since it exactly matches with the industry level curriculum so it is definitely relevant as the course

Dark Reality of IIIT Kottayam

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio is about 20:1700 , All the faculty are very friendly with the students in case of studies they also help us in learning many new things. The faculty i like upto now is Dr.cinu and Dr G.bhanu chandar i personally like these two teachers because they are very kind towards students and helped me a lot they have best knowledge and no ego. I like all the faculty. There are only two exams Mid sem and end semister exams compared to end sem mid sem exas are very tough only a few students fail to clear the exams ,really our course is very usefull for us

IIITK hostel nightmares

Faculty:

All the faculty are approachable and helpout whenever required. In terms of doubts or any other issues such as attendance and such The faculty to student ratio but easily be around 1:50 We have 2 exams every semester that is the mid sem and the finals Internals are taken also into consideration such as assignments labs and quizes they account for just as much as finals

Faculty:

8:1 faculty ratio. almost all faculty members are phd holders.knowledge wise they are the best. The course is of 4 years ( 8 sems) previously each sem is of 2 mid semester exams and 1 end semester exam and 1 final lab exam but now it is been changed to 1 mid exam and 1 end exam and 1 final lab exam. where in end exam or mid exam there would be around 4 to 8 subjects depending on which sem you are studying. Honest opinion: Studying a day before the exam would get you 8.5 gpa plus thats what i was saying no study pressure.

Faculty:

Good amount of faculties are there. The ratio is good. Lecturers are really good and proficient. The teach in english so language barrier is not a huge problem. Each sem there is a mid sem exam and an end sem exam. Grading is relative.

IIITK is a Mixed Bag

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio is satisfactory. Some of the faculties are good at their jobs and some make you wonder how they passed high school. So it's a mixed bag. There is one mid sem and one end sem exam. They are pretty easy to pass but not easy to score well.

The faculty to student ratio is quite high. All the Professors are highly educated with atleast one Phd amd are thorough with the subject. There are usually two exams per semester, first the mid sem , which as the name suggests happens in the mid of the semester. And then the finals.
