NIT Puducherry Scholarship 2026

The college does not directly provide scholarships but facilitates access to various government scholarships such as the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and Foundation for Excellence (FFE) for eligible students. SC/ST students receive full tuition fee waivers, while students from families with an annual income below Rs 1 lakh receive a 100% fee waiver. Those with incomes between Rs 1 and Rs 5 lakh get a 67% waiver, and students with incomes above Rs 5 lakh pay the full fee.

Education loans are available through an SBI branch on campus, covering up to 95% of college fees with an 8% interest rate applicable after one year of graduation. The fee structure varies by category and income, with general category students paying around Rs 6-8 lakh for the entire program, and SC/ST students exempted from tuition fees but required to pay hostel fees. The college supports students in obtaining external scholarships and provides financial aid based on student eligibility.
