- In my batch there are 64 student and there is only 17 girls.so the girl boy ratio is good.
- This college has the largest campus of all the college in the West Bengal so college campus is really good
- As I am a student of information technology so they are teaching me the course subject and also soft skill subjects that can help me in my placement journey
Dislikes
- The college is located in rural area which is the bad thing
- The course curriculum is not at the level of IIT NITs as we are studying some subjects which are introduced in the late semester which IIT and it and study in their second or third semester
- The third thing I don't like is that the Student of the college discriminate among each other like the local residents who are bengali's day prefered their friend as Bengali
Placement Experience:
The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

- One of the biggest advantage is many reputated companies are participating in placement.where most of the MCA and engineering students are get job offer.
- IEM provide great facilities and Infrastructure.
- Faculties are having many year experience and their teaching quality is best
Dislikes
- Our college is very strict for attendence and discipline policies.student required to minimum 75% attendance.
Course Curriculum Overview:
According to course curriculum i give 8.5 out of 10.The curriculum covers most of the important chapters required for future career in IT and Software Industry.These curriculum are very helpful for real world application because our teacher are focused both theory and practical learning.

- The teaching quality of all the faculties were top notch. Practical sessions were interactive and understandable.
- Mentors were provided and every month mentor-mentee meeting were held where we used to share our feedbacks. Mentors also gave us support and guidance throughout the course
- The campus is really beautiful and greenery with tall trees. Its really interactive and entertaining.
Dislikes
- This year placements were not so good. The percentage is very low this time. We expected that highly reputed companies will come this year but it was below our expectations.
- Skill development is very necessary in our field (especially for cse students). This lacks in our college. Proper classes and grooming were not done and as a result placement ratio was very low.
Placement Experience:
From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements.
The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made
Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa
50% students were placed
I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

- I liked the attendance policy, as there was no any strict rules of coming regularly to college, and the rule of 75% attendance policy was just on paper
- The class timings weren't also rigid, and our classes were not held all the 5 days a week for all the 4 weeks a month
- College location:- The college is situated in a calm place and there are farms nearby. Also, the commute to the college was difficult
Dislikes
- Reaching to the college is difficult, as after reaching Kolkata either we have to take a local train from Sealdah to Kalyani, and then from Kalyani to the campus or we can take a bus from Esplanade to Barajaguli, which is 10 minutes from campus

We can appear for placements from the 5th semester of college. The companies that visited our college were TCS and Cognizant. A lot of college students got offers from TCS and Cognizant. My plans after getting the degree were to get an off-campus placement.

- The college provides a moderately good infrastructure so it is more or less good. However some lab equipments have gotten old so upgrading those would be appreciated.
- The teachers and students are very friendly so interacting is very easy. Teachers are mostly experienced and quite knowledgeable in their field of expertise. However the college follows the curriculum suggested by makaut which feels outdated.
Dislikes
- The college doesn't give any options to play anything in college in their free time so that's an issue in my opinion. Also college isn't keen on giving NOCs for internships. Also they don't tend to provide funding to projects developed by students.
Placement Experience:
Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly.
highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum.
I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

- I liked the college environment the most. It was really pleasant and calm and green scenery everywhere which kept our mind at peace
- I also liked the faculties in the college. They were really helpful, approachable and knowledgeable.
- Another thing I liked about the college is the interaction with everyone, both within department and outside the department. Everyone was really friendly and approachable.
Dislikes
- I didn't like the infrastructure of the college. It lacked basic structure and management. I think they should improve that
- Also I didn't like the scarcity of vehicles to go to the college as well as come back from the college.
- Another thing I didn't like about the college is, there was no canteen in the college so we had to manage the food by ourselves.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because I saw the potential in the course for a better and precise future since hospital management is overall management and administration is a part of management. The college provided us 2 internships which really helps us to gain exposure in practical life.

- The discipline is followed very strictly.Also you have access to library which is good,teachers are helpful and no ragging policy which is strictly followed and has a decent environment.
- Thery conduct seminars which encourages students.Many faculty members are knowledgeable experienced in their respective subjects and helpful willing to solve doubts beyond the classroom also.
- The college has decent infrastucture including classrooms,labs and library .
Dislikes
- While the curriculum is decent ,it lacks sufficeint practical implementation.More hands on projects,real world application and industry exposure would improve learning significantly.
- Campus life can sometimes fell limited in terms of active student interaction.Opportunites for clubs,networking and collaborative activities could be improved.
- The college comes under St tHomas School so the campus is not great it is compact and has a canteen.
Placement Experience:
I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

- The environment is pretty good and suitable for study
- The campus area is good enough to feel relax
- The structure is quite affordable in accordance to that
Dislikes
- The fest is not the great as compare to others
- The surrounding area is somewhat not great
- Some of the faculty are quite rude sometimes
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is pretty good as it has been designed pretty good and aligns withd the real world applications as i have seen in front of me
Some improvement will be adding more rreal life things rather than bookish knowledge
Frequency is 8 and timing is between 10 to 2

- Events, Fests are generally being conducted regularly in the college.
- Teachers assigned to the respective course curriculum are knowledgeable and have industry exposure.
- Students in this college get the good amount of placement opportunities.
Dislikes
- Sports facilities in this college is very much limited. You can only play limited no of sports.
- The infrastructure of the college is very much old fashioned.
- Finding good peer group in this college is pretty much difficult. Also the girls to boys ratio is not up to the mark.
Course Curriculum Overview:
You can say that the course curriculum of our college is average. Like it is not very much industry aligned and not much old fashioned or outdated. Yes there needs to be improvement in the college's course curriculum so that students get to learn the things that are actually important and are needed in the field.

- NSEC IS A RAGGING FREE CAMPUS AND STRICT ACTIONS ARE TAKEN AGAINST PEOPLE DOING THAT
- LIBERAL COLLEGE AND NO 75% ATTENDANCE CRITERIA
- GOOD AND HELPFUL PEERS AND SENIORS AND PROFESSORS

- CAMPUS SIZE IS REALLY SMALL AND THERE ISNT MUCH TO EXPLORE
- PLACEMENT SCENARIO IS NOT SO GOOD COMPARED TO OTHER PRIVATE COLLEGES OF WEST BENGAL
- NEARBY AREA ROADS ARE REALLY DIRTY AND CAMPUS GETS WATERLOGGED DURING RAINS
Placement Experience:
mostly from end of third year students start getting campus placements and companies like TCS AND WIPRO HIRE MAJORITY of the students. The average package is 450000 and highest package every year goes upto 9-12 lakhs per annum. I want to go into core Electronics domain for which I am preparing for masters as no core electronics companies come in this college
