BCKV Faculty

The college offers classes five days a week with air-conditioned classrooms and well-equipped labs, providing a conducive learning environment. The faculty consists of highly qualified and experienced professors, many of whom are scientists or hold PhDs. There are three main faculties: Agriculture, Horticulture, and Agricultural Engineering, comprising a total of 16 departments, including Agronomy, Soil Science, and Plant Breeding. The student-to-faculty ratio is generally favorable, though some areas have fewer teachers, affecting syllabus completion.

Practical training is emphasized, with six months of field training and separate practical rooms for different subjects. Facilities include WiFi, computer labs, and audiovisual teaching aids. The faculty members are supportive, often providing additional classes for competitive exams. Despite some communication challenges and faculty recruitment concerns, the overall infrastructure and teaching quality are highly regarded, with ongoing research collaborations enhancing educational opportunities.
