- They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
- *there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
- There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.
Dislikes
- The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
- The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
- On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

- Beautiful, spacious campus with greenery Students often mention the campus is large, lush with plants, trees and well-maintained gardens.
- well-furnished and functional. The library is praised for its collection, environment, usefulness. Sports facilities are good; there’s a strong sports complex that students enjoy.
- Students appreciate the cultural and technical fests — Moksha (cultural) and Aayam (technical) are especially popular. There are many clubs (technical, cultural) giving opportunities beyond academics.
Dislikes
- Being located in Tripura, it's seen as relatively remote; travelling to/from is harder or more costly. Poor connectivity to major industrial hubs, which reduces chances of industrial visits/internships sometimes.
- Hot and humid weather for a large part of the year is uncomfortable. Some concern about air quality, or general environmental upkeep (dust, “jungle” overgrowth, etc.) in parts of the campus.
- WiFi / internet service in hostels is weak or unreliable. Limited daily data caps (e.g. ~2 GB/day) are considered insufficient for many students’ needs.
Placement Experience:
Placements in NIT Agartala are actually decent, especially for the top branches like CSE, IT, ECE, Mechanical, and Electrical. Every year many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, Capgemini, Deloitte, Microsoft, etc. visit the campus. The average package is around 7–8 LPA for CSE/ECE, while core branches get slightly lower, and the highest goes up to 40+ LPA in some years.
For other branches like Civil, Chemical, and Production, the placements are a bit lower, but students still manage through campus plus off-campus drives. What I like is that the placement cell is active, and we also get internship opportunities in our 3rd year which help us prepare.

- Our college has a vast area with lush green beauty.so qe get to see greenary everywhere
- Some faculties are good , they really want to help students.
- Civil CSE ECE EE buildings have a great infrastructure
Dislikes
- The science block in which we as first years had our classroom was really disappointing
- There're frequent power cuts in the campus with no generator facility,.. and we say its a National Institute
- Some faculties have a bad attitude, so students feel scared to reach out to them for help
Placement Experience:
From 3rd semester onwards we're eligible for placements. The companies visit here are Microsoft, Amazon, Phone pe, Paypal , physics wallah, Cloudera. Highest package was 56lpa and average was 18lpa. My plans are either getting to a company or giving GATE exam and securing a good IIT for Mtech

- I like the campus , here the peace ,silence and the nature is just wow
- Over all college life is good if i am talking about with respect to academics, festivals and events.

Placement Experience:
The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad.
In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus.
Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs.
The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa.
Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams.
I will take job and start my corporate journey.

- Nit Agartala have a huge and beautiful campus spread on around 350 acres of land.The infrastructure is modern and beautiful.
- The faculty is experienced and supportive.Good Faculty-to-Student Ratio and many faculty members hold PhDs from prestigious institutions like IITs and foreign universities.
- NIT Agartala generally has good placements, with a high percentage of students getting placed in reputable companies.Many well-known companies recruit from NIT Agartala, including Oracle, Google, and Infosys.
Dislikes
- The food quality in the first year was not great at all. I would rate it only 5/10.But you see a huge upgrade in food quality from the 2nd year.
- Events and fests conducted here are very less as compared to other government institutions.I hope it gets better in the upcoming years.
- Poor internet connectivity.You are only provided 2GB of daily data and it is limited.Also, you will face internet related issues in the whole campus except few locations.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical application, with laboratory work, projects, and internships playing a significant role.These offered courses helps to broaden the student's perspective. The curriculum is credit-based, with each course assigned a certain number of credits.
Generally, the mathematics exam is hard and this is the subject where a lot of students fail to get minimum passing marks. The exam is conducted at two timings - One in the morning and the other in afternoon.

from 7th semester they become eligible for the campus placements.
google , amazon , deloitte, college duniya and oracle , wipro o9 solution and many more companies visited to our campus . and total offer made was appox 700 .
highest package was of 52 lpa and avg 6 lpa . total 95 percent of students got placement .

- College Campus is green and had a very nice environment.
- The Buildings were clean and were interconnected.
- Wi-fi connectivity throughout the campus and easy connectivity to various places from campus
Dislikes
- The campus is too big so tough to travel at night without bus or a reserved vehicle service
- The rooms were too big and less cooling happened in it.
- The Lifts needed repairing too often and we needed to go till 6 floors by staircases.
Placement Experience:
NIT Agartala provides intership facilities from 3rd year onwards while the full fleged Placements commence from July onwards, which runs upto May the next year. The final year students are only eligible for placements.
The Companies that visit includes Amazon,Google,Microsoft,Cisco,Nvidia,Airtel,Reliance,L&T,Wipro,Infosys,etc.
The highest package was about 50Lacs from CRED while the average package stands at around 9lacs.
Around 89% students who applied for placements got placed.

- Climate and food and the class rooms also good
- And sport's complex is very nice and there is so many sport's and equipment is soo good
- And study is very good and the library is very Nice

- Some times food i don't like and water problem in hostels
- And the rainy season clg is always wet i don't like
- And there is language problem and they using hindi

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches.
After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

2.mahindra, samsung, Nvidia, Paypal, oracle , etc visit and offers around 850 jobs.
3.highest package in my branch is 52 lpa and average package is 13 lpa.
4.in my branch 97% students get placed.
5.my plans after getting my btech degree is to get a placement in high paying company.

- I like the faculties and their teaching which is too intuituive and fabulous.
- I like the festivities happening over here ,dandya night, dj night,Cultural fest MOKSHA,technical fest AAYAM .
- i also like the infrastructure since its in northeast its full of greenery and pleasant atmpsphere.

- I dont like the sudden weather change ,during winters,rainy and summer.
- i dont like the non spicy food over here,since i a spicy foodie
- i m bit dislikable regarding the long walk from my hostel to the department and any branch.
Placement Experience:
My college is providing the internships and placements as well.This is much good compared to the state private colleges due to the NIT tag .If you study hard and try to be in a good cgp of 7.5+ you will get atelast in normal tier placmenet.

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala
- Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
- Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
- Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
- Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
- The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
- The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
- The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.
Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
