Likes

They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
*there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.

Dislikes

The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

The fantastic Journey of NITA

Likes

The campus itself is a blessing and a lot of developed things are found. The infrastructure is well maintained.
The campus is very safe and very developed with lot of facilities and well developed items.
The overall campus life at NITA is very fabulous with lot of opportunities. The schemes are really very good here

Dislikes

The college has only few disadvantages like that of the location in North east and also a little safety problems.
The college is very far located from the main city which is difficult to reach.
The college as a whole is really a good opportunity for btech students to develop professionally and be a good person in the future

Placement Experience:

The campus scenario at NITA is quite well , Several companies like Cognizant , google, hitachi, reliance and many more visit our campus for placement season. the placement percentage at NITA is as followed : CSE: 80% PLACED ECE: 80% PLACED OTHER branches like mechanical, civil and others placement rate is 60-70%

A review for NIT Agartala from an average student.

Likes

I liked the club culture of the college.
I also like the college campus environment.
I like the sports culture in the college too.

Dislikes

I did not like some specific senior-junior interaction behavior.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college is quite good. Students get elegible for campus placements from 7th semester. Companies like google, amazon, wipro, infoysis, Tata, samsung visit every year. The highest package provided to a student was from google for an amount of 52 lpa for IT sector. Percentage of students getting placements varies from branch to branch. Highest among is ECE with a rate of 100% of placements of registered students and CSE for the best average package of 19 lpa. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good placement from the college.

I liked the sports facilities hereditary

Dislikes

I didn't liked the canteens here and also food is not good here

Placement Experience:

Placements are good here like from 7th semester onwards students are ellible for Placements and around 140to 200 companies visit here and the highest package was 53 lakh per annum last year and average is around 10lakh aroun 85 percent students get placed and from top branches 100 percent Placements are there

The Best NIT in North East

Likes

Very Big and Green Campus with lot of empty space to chill with friends
Department infrastructure is excellent specially technical departments like CSE and ECE
Our college has the largest sports complex in any NIT in India

Dislikes

College is kind of far from city and Rail Stations
Strict Hostel policy and gate policy is there
Being a big campus you have to walk a lot to get to our department

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is very good and upto the mark. Professors are very helpful and supporting, Labs are full furnished and net and clean with all required equipments. Exams are quiet easy and cover all topics in class

Top engineering college of Agartala

Likes

I liked the campus , it's very greenery here.
The facilities teaches very well and help us whenever we need.
We get different types of scholarships which help us to manage with the collage fees and other things.

Dislikes

We don't have air conditioner in our classrooms.
Female washroom's condition is not good .
There are no CCTV in the campus except the office rooms.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit every year like TCS , Ashok Leyland, TATA elxsi, Oracle and many more. They take many students like in last year also Oracle took 30 students those who have good coding skills.

MY HONEST VIEW ABOUT "NIT AGARTALA"

Likes

The infrastructure of our college department building and hostels provided is very good.
The sports facilities provided in Nit agartala is very good, the sports complex of nit Agartala is the largest sports complex of all nits.
The guidance of faculties are very good, they play an important rule in a student life. Such as incampus placement, faculties are giving guidance to the student for placement interview and others

Dislikes

The mess food provided in the very fast year is very poor quality. The taste is not good.
Many faculties are not giving guidance efficiently. They behave with student with very improper manner and harshly
Many companies are wouldn't visit to the college due to the fact that it is in remote state and having difficulties in communication

Placement Experience:

The placement in our college is very good for circuital branches such as electronics and communication, electrical, electronics and instrumentation. The average package offered to these branches is approximately 14 lakh per annum to 18 lakh per annum. The topmost branch of our college is computer science engineering. The highest package gone through in previous year was 54 lakh per annum offered by Amazon. The mediocre branches such as mechanical, chemical civil, production are also given placement average 7 to 8 lakh per annum which is comparatively is low. Many multinational companies, government aided companies and PSU are visited nit Agartala to give placement to the desired student. But various companies, they are not even come to nit Agartala for main reason such as it is in North East of our. The difficulty to communicate with roadways. There are also other issues which are also having play rule in difficulties to providing incampus placement.

Likes

Environment of the college surrounding of the college is safe and secure.
My departments curriculum, good percentage of placement .
Sports complex infrastructure and sports environment of the college.

Dislikes

Internet connection in hostels is not so good.
Water supply in some buildings is not good.
Mess food sometimes is not good enough in taste.

Placement Experience:

Placement scenerio of my college is upto the mark.Students from 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Many companies both core and IT sector companies come for placements.The average pakage of the college is approx 700000.A good percentage of students are placed every year.My plans after getting the degree is to get a high paying job at software companies and earn experirnce also to excell further in life.

I like the parks at my college we have a BSF park for the BSF army but it was also accessible by students.
I also like the behaviour of our teachers there extremely friendly and also as well as professional.
I do like the shopping complex of our campus it makes our life extremely easy.

Dislikes

I dislike the cultural fest of our college because the management was worst.
I also dislike the bus service of our college because they always run into some accodents.
I also dicks like that distance between the departments if you have to go to another department rather than yours you have to travel like 1 - 1.5 km.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually the course electronics and communication was every difficult course it was like you are reading electronics and computer science simultaneously we also have object oriented programming and on the other and we have analog systems and digital system then we also have some basic programming like IP etc.

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala

Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.

Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
