The eligibility criteria is the student has to be a graduate. Admission to the other course is based on the merit of the candidates as per the marks obtained in their previous qualifying examinations.

Candidates applying to UG or PG courses offered at the University need to fill in the registration form and pay the registration fee. The registration form can be obtained from the Alagappa University, Karaikudi through a Demand Draft. The application fee would be reasonable The University conducts its own entrance exam for admission to MBA, MCA, MEd, BEd and MSc Biotechnology courses. Furthermore, for admission to MBA, PGDM, MCA, MSc (Biotechnology), the University holds Group Discussion and Personal Interview for candidates shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance test. The final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of the performance in group discussion and personal interview. Admission to rest of the PG courses and UG courses is done on the basis of merit.

To get admission in the college students can visit any Learning Centre of the college if he has an undergraduate degree in any stream from a recognized board. The candidate has to submit documents like Photocopies of mark sheet, transfer certificate, character certificate which is attached by a Gazetted Officer. the college will also verify original documents. The candidate has to pay an amount of INR 100 at the admission counter.

Admission to MBA is given on the basis of Entrance Test, Group Discussion, and Interview a student must have passed any degree 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum of 60% marks. Based on test performance & academics reports seat is allotted. After that documents need to be attached along with the admission form to verify.

The course structure, fees, and job opportunities were good. Along with this, the college promotes the idea of shaping up the personality of the student on a good note and in the best possible way. I was indeed happy to be a part of this college and each year I enjoyed the activities and studies.

My MBA program was one of the finest programs offered by our institute which triggered the blending of different cultures. We got to visit many MNCs during our corporate visits and interacted with different people. Our college believes in the celebration of life and almost all the festivals are celebrated with utmost joy. My personal favorite was Pongal Celebration. All of our labs were digitized and had all the advanced tools for an advanced learning experience.

I know that I didn't do as much as in my valuable time period of MBA but seriously I don't have the points by which I can make the bad remarks about the College

Any degree recognized by UGC for MBA and degree with minimum of two years of industrial/teaching experience for Executive MBA. The selection of applicants is made through admission test and interview. Those who appeared for CAT, MAT, and XAT are exempted from the admission test.

There is an entrance exam for the students who have to give to take admission in MBA. The candidates who have taken other entrance exam like CAT and others do not have to.

The candidates will have to give an entrance test in order to take admission in the college. The candiates who gave an entrance exam need not sit for this.
