My college life in Alagappa University

My course is a two-year duration course and after completing it a student can become master in Warehousing, Inventory Management, Integrated Logistics, Supply Chain Management. The college organises international and National Conferences, Seminars and Workshops for the students related to the course. the course was updated in 2016 by adding topics like modern logistics operations management, the multimodal transport system in the syllabus.

Yes, my college has the good facility of placement because we have a placement cell, who invites companies like Snow Shipping Services, Vetham Logistics Clearing & Forwarding Agent-Sea & Air,Vetham Logistics Clearing & Forwarding Agent-Sea & Air, Sri Paruthi Yarns Mfrs. Of Cotton yarns, Samanaickenpalayam, , Senthil Andavar Transport Pvt. Ltd., Logistics Services, DIESL Drive India Enterprise Solutions Ltd, NSK Clearing & Forwarding, Customs Clearing & Forwarding Agents, FMU Lines Pvt.Ltd, Ti Cycle of India and many more for recruiting students.

Fees Structure of my course is Tuition fee INR 12000, Computer Lab Fees INR 2000, SPl Fees INR 2200, Special Lecture & Industrial Visit fees INR 3000 and Other Fees INR 1300. so the total fees of the first year were INR 20500 and for the second year, it was INR 19200. which is very less as compared to the other government college in the city.

We have smart classrooms which are equipped with Internet facility, projector, smart boards and computers. The college has a computer centre with more than 70 new computer for students. The provides seminar halls, conference hall with the facilities of the Public address system and LCD Projector video Conferencing system and Projector to organise seminars and guest lectures. there is a central library on the campus with a huge collection of books and journals.

To get admission in the college students can visit any Learning Centre of the college if he has an undergraduate degree in any stream from a recognized board. The candidate has to submit documents like Photocopies of mark sheet, transfer certificate, character certificate which is attached by a Gazetted Officer. the college will also verify original documents. The candidate has to pay an amount of INR 100 at the admission counter.

In my opinion, we have a world-class teaching faculty at my college. we have bunch of top-notch teachers such as Dr.M.Senthil, Dr.V. Sivakumar, Dr P.Rajan Chinna and Dr V.A.Anand. who is an inspiration for us and always motivate us to reach our goals. Most of the teacher have industry experience in their subjects and they are well qualified.
