Which companies offer internships to students at LPU to BA in Journalism and Mass Communication students?

Hello there! My Name is Sakshi Gupta, I have completed BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from LPU. I guess I can answer this question better as I sat for placements last year. LPU believes in practical learning and gives students in their final year so many opportunities for placements and internships and even part-time jobs. LPU uses various mediums to inform students with latest Updates and events at the university and keeps us updated regarding the lastest market trends as well. LPU has its own university app where they post all the latest announcements, exams, fees, results, placements, and various kinds of things. So I used that app during my placements to get the latest information related to webinars, seminars, and placement and internship opportunities for students. I have not seen a single day when there is no announcement for an internship at that app. The top companies that offer internships at LPU to BA Journalism and Mass Com graduates are India Today, Times of India, HT Media, Zee Media, Sony, Red FM etc. LPU also trains students from scratch and provides them Industrial Trainings and placements. For some courses at LPU it is compulsory for students to do a 30 - 45 days internship or Summer training, full-term mandatory internships. Hence LPU offers internships to students.

i loved the affordability and flexibility

I disliked the tumetables provided for the classes as it can vary a lot.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I applied for distance education in Bachelor of arts at 8,500. I did not get any scholorship, still it is very affordable and very work-friendly. I can easily manage my work and studies by the online material and classes provided by the institution.

great experience

The college is bit expensive and everyone cannot afford . Placements are not that good in the college.
overall the college is bit expensive and quite overrated.

I used to submit 1 lac per semester in my college. For registration in advance, I had submitted 10000 to the college which was later adjusted. For the hostel fees, it was 60000 per semester. I don't have any idea about the other batchmates' fees. If any student cracks the lpu nest exam, he/she can get a scholarship according to the percentage.

very less time gab between teaching and exam schedule.

a) tuition fees is suitable for the poor students also who are efficient in studies. b) my cost of education was Rs.12,000 including tuition and service fees and other compulsory charges. c) there ares many scholarships are available for students who are weak in finance.

Enjoying college life here !

Tough syllabus. I fear that sometimes I might fail in exam.

Fees is high but in our country India students are paying high fees due to education inflation which is around 10-12% annually so we might see an increase in fees structure so that the institutions can also run smoothly. Generally fees here is a little higher than other colleges due to the college's great infrastructure.

The best college overall India

The only reason behind choosing economics is that I love the subject. It's well said '' do what you like and that will create into a complete man. The faculties are very cooperative, competitive, Helping, understanding, and knowledgeable. Strength in the class -82, Passing ratio -98%, Faculties' info. Education - Doctorate degree holders. Master degree Holders. Teaching method- Because the pandamic I was unfortunate to have offline classes. My first year of the course I had complete in an online mode with regard to online classes, I would say all the facilities are eligible and able to render the classes in an online mode, with enough classes (online) and assignments (offline), MCQ tests, snap tests, unit tests. Exams are conducted very often with units tests, snap tests, MCQ tests, mock exams, and finals. All the exams are conducted very frequently and timely that a student is well understood and helped out if any problem.

The fee structure includes the semester fee and hostel fee and electricity bill included. The mess fee is 25000 rupees. The semester course was 70000 rupees. The other expenses included the amenities of the hostel room and books. 10000 rupees was taken as security of mess. I have not opted for any scholarship or loan. But this facility is available for the students who can't afford the fee.

Why should you study at LPU?

I am quite sure about the fees hike policy but they are usually 20-25k. The cost of study for me now is around 215000 per year. The scholarship I got was on the basis of my 12th aggregate mark. I don't have any job for now as I am still in my 2nd year.

fees of this college is very good a middle class family can afford this fee they are robeding highest quality education is low fees. Scollership provide to theso who can not aford the fee. I am second year student so I do not have job right now.

My College Experience

In the course B.A, it is a 3year course in which u have to give at least 4,11,600. 500+ Jobs offered in every semester. I'm a sports trainer. To coach and monitor different sports activities and athletics.
