SIT, Pune - Your Dream University

Likes

Symbiosis really focuses on the rules regarding attendance and is serious about there decorum.
The campus is very scenic. It is very big and beautiful.
Staff is really cooperative like i dont know about other symbiosis colleges but SIT got really good faculty.

Dislikes

Mixed crowd like mostly people are from outer states. I mean I’m from maharashtra but then mixed crowd matters me.
Symbiosis is casual about indian festivals like they don’t give much holidays. For eg. We didnt had holiday on Ram Navami.
Location of the college is in outskirts of Pune so it’s not easily accessible.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in our college. Average LPA is 8 lakhs ruppees and every branch gets good placements. They mostly offer PPO which means Pre placement offer which includes placement and internship. Symbiosis has last sem dedicated to Internship.

Insights of SMCW

Likes

College especially emphasises on academics they are determined to make us best doctors it is situated between hills we get the best weather all round the year a very calm peaceful life extra ciricular is great too
They have the best labs the infrastructure is spectacular every instrument is up to date teachers pay attention on students the fee structure is the most attractive part no deemed college in India is at sucha mominal fee
we as students feel very comfortable discussing every issue with our teachers be it regarding academics or personal issue and the faculty is always more than happy to help i cant think of a better place to complete my graduation at this fees

Dislikes

The college is not exactly in pune it is a little remote so travelling is sometimes a bit hectic connectivilty to the city is less but if you prefer a calm life it is the best place for you
since the college is a bit in outskirts there is no 24*7 supply of daily utilities yes we have a shop but sometimes its not enough so there are few things which need planning else zomato swiggy big basket everything works
The hostel is amazing but the only drawback it is triple sharing in other college with each year it gets single sharing but not here and since it is all girls life could be sometimes monotonous but not always the fests and party here never ends

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am pursuing is MBBS..i won't drag it by telling why i wanted to become a doctor its just something i knew i had to do since i entered the real world. The course ofcourse as everyone says is difficult not as easy as other courses we don't get many days off.You might always feel jealous of your other course friends who'll keep getting offs but with a little bit extra effort you can easily cope up.Visiting opds gives you a different type of rush.Mine is a deemed university of it comes under NMC which is national medical council here they follow every single guideline laid by nmc and put in best effort to explain each of them to us.Nothing here is taken lightly. After every unit we complete in amy subject there is a class test We have to appear for 2 internal assessment passing in each of them is an essential criteria for appearing in Prelimnary exams if you fail to do so if you have to appear for remidial exam if you clear them then you get to sit is prelims Then comes Prof

Placement Experience:

Placements in general are quite great, because of how longstanding the university's reputation is. I was especially pleased with the internship opportunities provided, because of which I even landed a job. However, one batch in every few years may face the brunt of a bad job market. But students can keep in touch with their classmates/seniors for opportunities

The campus is amazing , it is situated amidst the hill ranges .the vallies appears as heaven during monsoon.
Apart from infrastructure the academics of college is amazing we are provided in hand practical experience .
The faculty is amazing The professor here are from the renowned college of pune .the teachers are expert at their subject

Dislikes

Nothing much like the mess food could be little better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The mbbs course is under the cbme curriculum. It is a competency based course .Although mbbs is a tough course though but I find it really interesting because I have a keen interest towards human body and how beautifully our professor explains the intricacies of human body ,.... I mean all credits goes to our college .Also the college tries to explain everything using the modern techniques of education. Our college also has skill based lab where all the practical things are taught in a stimulated environment ,the lab is equipped with advance instrument and provides real time generic to students. The college conducts internal exams , pre limbs , and finally university... also it conducts small exams like formative assessment. The college provides access to library and different kinds of museum. The professor also encourage students to take part in research work
