Likes
- Symbiosis really focuses on the rules regarding attendance and is serious about there decorum.
- The campus is very scenic. It is very big and beautiful.
- Staff is really cooperative like i dont know about other symbiosis colleges but SIT got really good faculty.
Dislikes
- Mixed crowd like mostly people are from outer states. I mean I’m from maharashtra but then mixed crowd matters me.
- Symbiosis is casual about indian festivals like they don’t give much holidays. For eg. We didnt had holiday on Ram Navami.
- Location of the college is in outskirts of Pune so it’s not easily accessible.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is AIML. We are the second most batch of SIT who'll be graduating B.tech AIML. But trust me the course is well designed and industry oriented. The course is more focused on practical knowledge more than typical indian theory knowledge. Talking about placements, the placements season is not even started still 21 people have got placed with PPO.
Internships Opportunities
College has dedicated semester for internships which is the 8th semester and its compulsory for students. College also provide students with good internships oppurtunites from many MNC's. They know how to make sure that most of the students get internships at good companies with good pay scale. For example, Microsoft, Linkedin, Zomata etc are the companies which offer internships.
Placement Experience
Placements are good in our college. Average LPA is 8 lakhs ruppees and every branch gets good placements. They mostly offer PPO which means Pre placement offer which includes placement and internship. Symbiosis has last sem dedicated to Internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
Only goverment schlorships are accepted in symbiosis. Fees is same for everyone and each course in SIT. I have paid 2,60,000 per year. There is 5 % hike every year. Uniform and exam fees are included in the fees.
Campus Life
Symbiosis definitely got the best campus life for real. The fests and everything is so best. SIT got a big library and also SIU got the central library which is open late nights also. Classrooms are well eqipped with latest technologies and labs are also equipped with best machines present. SIT takes every sport very seriously and they have dedicated Sports fest making college life more fun.
Admission
SIT got 3 ways to get in the college. First is their own entrance which is SITEEE. Another is JEE mains percentile and last is MHT-CET percentile. I got into college by JEE-Mains percentile so I dont have idea about SITEEE.
Faculty
In SIT every faculty is Phd. qualified and they are very nice to students. Everything is taken seriously by them like they focus on every child I mean the division is divided into 3 batches and every batch is assigned a mentor who keeps their focus and keeps updating parents about everything happens. Everythings is cleared with parents.
