First of all you have to pay 2800rs for IITPSAT exam ,after clearing it you have to pay 48600rs for first semester fee. When your admission is confirmed you got your institute id .If you are doing the hybrid course your not eligible for most of the government scholarship, you have to get loan from banks, for getting loan you have to require Bonafide certificate which is provided by the institute.

Truth Of The Hybrid Program Of IIT Patna(NEP 2020)

In This Course , The Year Wise Fees Anyone Have To Pay Is 97200(48600/sem).The Registeration Fee Of This Program Which You Have To Pay Is 2800. There is no separate fee as development fee ,Tuition fees, caution fees,lab fees and the other compulsory charges during the course completion. There is no any separate fee structure for category (like Management, SC, ST).Everyone Has To Pay The Same Fee And Charges. Any type of financial aid or scholarships wil not be provided by the institute.

BS in AI-CS at IITP revolutionizing Indian tech sector

I have taken admission in BS in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity(AI-CS) from IIT Patna. It's a 4 year long course. You can take admission in BSc(if continue for 3 years) or BS-MS(if continue for 5 years)as well. I decided to take admission in this degree when I was already pursuing a degree in agricultural engineering at the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, OUAT, Bhubaneswar. During my 2nd year at the agricultural engineering college, I took admission in 1st year of BS in AI-CS at IIT Patna. The first year consists of 2 semesters just like the my offline college. First semester has 19 credits and 2nd semester has 20 credits. However, the course may be expensive for most of the students belonging to middle class family. For the first semester, you have to pay INR 49,816/- and you have to register for the second semester by paying INR 48,600/- before the completion of first semester exam. So, I paid a total of INR 98,416/- (approx. INR 1 Lakh/-) for the first year of BS in AI-CS at IIT Patna (I took admission in Autumn 2025 batch). The amount will remain same for my entire 4 years, that's it's not going to increase suddenly inbetween the course, but if you are taking admission in 2026 or afterwards, the admission fees may vary per year. So, you have to pay approximately INR 4 Lakh/- for completing the entire course of 4 years. Furthermore, if you take admission in BS-MS, the prices may be approximately 5 Lakhs/-(Rs. 5,00,000/-) for the entire 5 years. You can withdraw the course inbetween and reenter after taking some year gap(lateral entry) if any sort of financial problems appear. You become eligible for a lot of scholarships after taking admission here. I have applied for SBI scholarship which is Rs. 50,000/- per year till the completion of this course. In addition to this, you can take part in hackathons and group projects to earn some extra amount of money. This institute also provides internship opportunities inbetween the course. So

B.Sc (CSDA) course fee is 2,76,000 (92,000 per year). You can pay fees through these option EMI with 0% interest rate and bihar creadit card option is also available. There is no scholarship from the college. If you want scholarship will have to take private / government scholarship. Semester - wise fees pay. Tuition fees is 92,000 per year, and registration fees 1500 (there was no extra fees required from the college).

The course fee is 1,00,000 per semester and it depends on the category and family income.If you belong to SC/ST then there is no need to pay the course fee,you just need to pay for hostel, mess, transport, gymkhana,etc which is around 60000.The most economically backward students(whose family income is less than 1lakh per annum)shall get full remission of the tution fee.The most economically backward students (whose family income is between 1lakh and 5lakh per annum) shall get remission of 2/3rd of the tution fee.

My Experience at IIT PATNA

Basic Fee Structure:(Per year) Tuition Fee:2,00,000 Academic Fee:6000 Annual Health Insurance:1388 Gymkhana Fee:6000 Transport Fee: 2400 Hostel Fee: 12,000 In this above fee structure only Mess advance fee is varying in 1st semester it was 19,125 then in 2nd semester 19,525 then 3rd and 4th 19,125 then in 5th 19,625 and in 6th semester 21,625. Mess fee is changing due to the market and the menu we propose in 3rd semester we paid 800 extra for the change in menu. For SC/ST students and students with family income less than 5,00,000 Tuition fee is completely waivered. Other than Tuition fee remaining all fee should be paid by everyone. Our college support and encourage students to apply for different scholarships in them most favored are, 1)NSP (National Scholarship Portal) 2)Merit-cum-means there are many schemes under these scholarships which give 12,000 as stipend and few refund the fees paid to college. I have applied to NSP and I get 12,000 as stipend and they refund any fee I paid to the college.
