Nit Silchar the beautiful college to visit

Fees and Financial Aid:

Basically there are three types of fee structure in our college. Those students whose family income is 1. below 1 lakh or belong to ST/SC category the tution fee is zero. 2. Between 1-5 lakhs the tution fee is 20833. 3. Above 5 lakhs the tution fee is 62500. The other fee includes caution registration, lab fee, exam fee etc is 38000 for 1st semester only and 10100 from 2nd year onwards.

Nit Silchar overview as a first year student.

For a complete year the academic fees to be paid is nearly ?147000 along with mess fees of 22500 where for reservation candidates only 11,000 need to be paid and 22500 for mess. All types of government scholarships as well as private scholarships can be availed.

NIT SILCHAR campus tour for students

Fees paid per sem is around 60000(including tuition fees) and there is one time admission fees of 5000 , caution fees of 10000 one time at the time of admission. Students with reservation are exempted from tuition fees and their sem fees is around 15000 Reserved students gets scholarship on the basis of merit from NSP There is also scholarship for non reserved students on the basis of merit

Generally,for people with income above 5lakh need to pay 25500 as tution fee and 22500 as hostel fee if i had a proper income certificate with 1lakh below I need to pay 22500 as hostel fee and 5000 as tution fee

Review: The NIT Silchar

Except the Tuition fee per semister generally we have to pay around 11000 (Different types of college fees like admission, library, transport, madical, sport, hostel seat rent, light and water fee etc.) and 22500 as Mess fee for all sudents of different categories. The college supports different types of scholarships like Scholarships from NSP, Bharti Airtel Scholarship etc. And also there is an SBI branch inside the college campus from where one can apply for educaiton loan.

Real college is far different from which we see online .

Hey there it is very obvious that a student whose family income is less than 1 lacs they have not pay tution fee as other pay people having family income between 1 and 5 lacs they pay only one third of the tution fee and above 5 five lacs pays full tution fee i.e 62500 approx. There are many scholarship available for students studying in the college. Like reliance, ffe ,nsp and many more . Fee structure for the sc st category is as same as the below 1 lacs one .

Good But Terms and conditions apply

Yearly we would be paying around 1,40,000rs Since I am belonging to open category but if your family income is below 5 lacs or 1 lac you can avail the scholarship provided by the govt .overall college have very good facilities.Labs are equipped to enough amounts. We have many clubs for extra curricular activities.there are many sports clubs which are funded by government. We don't need to pay any money after paying fees. But in some cases seniors might ask money for the branch fees . branch is utilised for freshers party, some extra curricular activities held by the respective branches,any science expos held by the branches . Here no money goes useless .

NIT Silchar - A college you must go into

It is divided into many things such as hostel management fees and college management fees.. Gymkhana which is the sports and activities fees.. There are some divisions in hostel fees also such as bhm fees.. more details is available on website since the fee structure changes every year

Academics is tough as compared to other nit in india

In Nit Silchar tution fee for candidates with family income more than 8 lacs is 2 lacs per annum and with family income 5-8 lacs is 2/3 rd of total fees and candidates with family income 1-5 lacs is 1/3 rd of total fees and no fees for candidates with family income less than 1 lacs
