Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course primarily because of its updated curriculum which offers great balance between foundational concepts and industry relevant modern topics. However an area that needs improvement is the updating certain traditional modules to match fast evolving industry trends, Ai trends.

Internships Opportunities

5

Aryabhatta College provides a decent array of internships opportunities through placement cell, which host annual internship fairs. Prominent companies like sharekan, unstop, Go dutch, Tosh Innovations and several digital marketing agencies.

Placement Experience

4

At Aryabhatta College students typically become eligible for campus placements and official corporate hiring drives starting from 5th or 6th semester. The college has Active placement cells and internship cells that works consistently to bring the recruitmrnt opportunities to the collge.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total course fee for my bcom hons course is approx 60,000 to 70,000 for the entire 3 year duration. This includes the tuition fee. The fees remains constant throughout the 3 years and did not increase.

Campus Life

5

Campus life at Aryabhatta College is dynamic and offers a wonderful experience. The college hosts its annual cultural festival AAVAAHAN to bringing together students across DU. There is a social groups like RITVAA and RANGMANCH. Aryabhatta College offers girls to join NCC.

Admission

I chose Aryabhatta College primarily because it is a prominent part of Delhi University's South Campus, offerings a highly vibrant academic atmosphere, modern infrastructure, and good connectivity to metro. I had also applied to some other colleges such as Motilal nehru college and ramanujan college. I ultimately preferred Aryabhatta College due to its relatively newer, Well maintained campus and active student societies.

Faculty

5

The faculty members at Aryabhatta College are generally highly qualified with majority holding PhDs in their respective fields. The faculty to student ratio is quite balanced, making teachers approachable during regular classes as well designated periods. Following the DU curricululm, the course structure is comprehensive and highly releant to professional goals.

Night Life

5

Being situated in South Campus offers amazing social environment for students. Satyaniketan is much closer alot of cafes and food stalls are there. Sarojini Nagar market it is easily accessible via auto or pink line metro.

Placements are pretty much above average in our college, better than many of the off campuses colleges as well as some of the South campuses colleges. * students are eligible for campus placements from the very beginning of their college. From the first year itself. * Companies such as Delloite, Genpact, KPMG and many more tier A, tier B and tier C companies visits to our campus. *Highest Package is 21 laks PA * Average is somewhere around 4-5 lakhs * Being in the placement cell i can assure you that there are n number of profiles offered. * Obviously planning to getting placed through the college itself.

Placement Experience:

The alumni network of hansraj is strong as it has been a doorway for many famous bureaucrats and entrepreneurs such as Naveen Jindal himself. The societies are very active as well which enhance real life skills of students which further helps them to acquire a job due to experience. The internship cell works for giving us access to prospective internship which starts from sem 1 too. The highest package stood at 36.5 lakhs . The placement cell of Hansraj is a student run cell that plays a huge role too . As I have said before , majority of students offered job (74%) were from commerce stream. The average package stands at 8.2 lpa and median at 7 lpa

As I mentioned earlier this campus recently was recognised by the famous wipro company. A total of 55 students were capable of attaining a nice placement in that company. 20 students were offered a package of 24 lakhs per annum. The minimum package was 10 lakhs per annum.
