Course Curriculum Overview

4

I like the course. I pursued this course because I want more practical subjects on the place of theoretical subjects and in this course we have Maths, Economics. In future after this course you can pursue MBA, Masters in Economics or any other subject and also you can go for job in public or corporate sector.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees that I paid in Aryabhatta college for BA Hons. Business Economics is 35250 rs. It is tution fee of every student of Business Economics. College doesn't provide any scholarship for any student.

Campus Life

4

There are a decent campus of our college. Thare are 2 old buildings and a new building that is almost complete in our college and a good playground of our college make the environment positive. There are many active societies in my college.

Admission

I don't get the addmission in other colleges because my marks was low. All colleges od Delhi University take addmin through CUET Exam. For BA Hons. Business Economics you have compulsary maths in class 12th. Maths+General Aptitude test+Any language is combination for this course. The cut off is around 450 for Unreserved category. My marks are 421 and I get addmission through EWS category

Faculty

4

The faculty of aryabhatta college of bbe department are very good and also the faculty -student ratio is decent. I like mr. Abhishek Jaiswal sir because he is very supportive and kind towards the students. There are total 7 subjects in my 1st semester.

Night Life

5

Around our college there are embessy area so no concern about safety. You can see police vehicles almost in every 100 meters. There are many cafeterias and gaming centres nearby my college. There are a good badminton court near our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements are competitive and hard to get. Usually multiple offers are limited to few disciplines such as Commerce or economics. While many arts students usually dont sit for placements in that high a number. Highest packages have gone upto around 45LPA, while average package remains somewhere around 12-14 LPA While companies such as BCG,. mckinsey etc do visit campus and as I said- they are more economics and commerce oriented but other discipline students also get placed- just not in these high numbers. Usually around 8-9 GPA is a good score for placemets. The employability is good in the market as the college does have strong Alumni Network and also is a recognised and reputed name in the job market.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral). My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

IIAD has a 90% placement track record. Companies like Netflix, Levi's, FabIndia, Squareboat come for campus placements. The average package offered is also decent, around 5 LPA. My seniors are quite happy with the job roles they have received during the campus placements. Students are eligible to apply for campus placements in their final year. My plan after getting the degree is to start my own fashion marketing agency.
