Course Curriculum Overview
At vignan the AIML course plan is good and has core AI and ML topics.I chose it for data and job scope.It builds base well in math,ML and code, and also has mini projects and hack events for real use.The new AI bot mock test also helps in job prep.Teach style is ok but can add more live deom and data work.
Internships Opportunities
At vignan intern chances are open from 2nd year or 3rd year.Firms like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant and some start ups offer roles like web dev,data analy and test engg.Stipend can be from 5k to 20k per month based on role and firm.The college also shares links and has tie ups for train and intern. Students work on mini project and real tasks like web app build,data clean.In AIML tasks may be dataset work,model build and eval.These help in skill gain and add to CV.
Placement Experience
At Vignan University students top pack is about 10-12 LPA and avg is about 3-5 LPA based on role.Around 70-80% students get placed if they have good skills.The college gives train,mock tests,and code prac for prep.
Fees and Financial Aid
At vignan university the yearly fee structure for B.Tech is based on tution and other charges.The base tution fee is around 2,60,000 per year, but in my case,I received a 50% scholarship from Inter marks,so I pay approximately 1,20,000 per year.In the first year,there are extra fees such as admission fee,reg fee which comes to around 20,000 making total 1.4-1.45 lakhs.From the second year,only tution fee is there.Overall the total cost for complete 4-year course in my case comes comes to approx 5.3-5.5 lakhs.For students without no scholarship the total course fee is around 9-10 lakhs.The university offers merit-based scholarships upto 50% and for SC/ST students,there is around 10% fee cut and can use govt aid.Fees may rise a bit each year from new batches
Campus Life
At vignan university campus life is good with clubs,tech events and vignan Mahotsav in Feb or Mar.The lib has books and e books.Class rooms have smart board and net.Sports and groups are active and help in skill and fun.
Admission
I chose Vignan university fro AIML,fair fee and good campus.I got seats in other colleges but fee was high.Admisssion is easy via 10+2 and test,with mid cut off.In other colleges AIML course was not well set.
Faculty
At vignan the faculty to student ratio is roughly 1:20 to 1:25,which helps in good class talks.Faculty are easy to reach and give help in labs,mini work and exam time.Some teach with clear real use cases and focus on code skills,which makes them the best.A few still use old style notes and less live demos.Faculty also helps in growth of students. The couse plan has core and new tech topics.It is good for base know,but needs more hands on work.
Night Life
At vignan night life is calm and safe,with strict in time.Hostels have in time near 9 to 10 pm.Cafe and canteen cloe by 8 to 9 pm.Gym and lib also close by eve.Inside campus,Open areas and courts are used till close time.It is not late night vibe,but good for safe and calm life.
