My Experience at VIIT Visakhapatnam

The course curriculum is very well planned and includes all the subjects which are essential to the students. The subjects and topics included in the course curriculum makes the students industrial ready.

There is an IDEA LAB in the college where the students can come out with their project ideas and themes. This makes the students get encouraged by making their ideas come true into the real world. The college also provides internship opportunities for students for making them get aware about the industrial life. This gives a balance in the study and work environment.

The placements offered in this year i.e, 2026 passed out batch is higher and better companies have been visited to the campus this year. For mechanical engineering students the companies like L&T, Infosys, Milekal, Airtel, IMEG, ND Matrix, etc have been nviusited to the campus for recruitment.

I got seat in this college as day schollar student under fees re-embersement scheme. . The fees structure is 52000 per year. The other registration and tution fees are 16000 per year. The total fees structure is 78000 per year.

The college conducts fests and many other curricular activities regularly to encourage students in all the sectors like games, projects, dance, and other extracurricular activities. The best and well known event in the college is YUVATARANG.

I preferred this college because the placements offered in this college are somewhat higher and better. The placement percxentage is also higher than other colleges. Also the location of this college is near to my house location, so i prefered this college.

The faculty are very supportive and student friendly. Exams are conducted in a strict manner eventhough they are conducted in college itself. The questions asked are moderate to hard leveled. The paper correction is moderate level.

The college is equipped with high end library with recent journals and latest published books. There are some sports club for the students to encourage them in extracurricular activities. The college timings are from 8:45AM to 4:00PM, beyond that time also the library remains open for students.
