What Students Say

Likes

The infrastructure and the academic calendar is too impressive.
Quality of placements and the placement percentage is also too good
The experienced faculty and their admirable teaching.

Dislikes

Some lab equipment are not working properly
And the lacking of industrial visits and tours.
The fee payment system is not good actually

Course Curriculum Overview

The collage circulam is well structured and well aligned with current academics and industry requirements.But the syllabus is too outdated and it's still teaching the same syllabus. But the quality of teaching is good

Fees and Financial Aid

For me as a Scholarship holder the tution fee is 52000/yr Building fund+library fee+laboratory fee= 6000/yr Examination fee= 1500/sem Same feeling structure applicable for the consecutive years. For a MQ holder I think it will a 1lakh/year.

Campus Life

The campus Life is vibrant and providea a balanced mix of academics and extra circular activities. Students are getting a chance to participate in multiple cultural events, technical events etc... The campus environment encourages learning beyond classrooms.

Admission

As we all know VIIT is the one of the top private engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh as it is accredited with NAAC, NBA with better rankings,and also near to my home.Thats the reason I choose vignan as my primary option.

Faculty

As a passed out student from VIIT, I would like to share my experience with u.The collage provides supportive environment with experienced and approachable faculty members.Most of the faculty are helpful in academic,project guidence and motivating us towards career development. The collage also providing good importance to CRT Training which plays a key factor in placements.

Interview Experience

No, as I'm a counselling student I don't face any GD, or interview at my admission time. I directly entering through EAPCET counselling.By securing a good rank in EAPCET will lead to securing a better branches in their counselling process.

Night Life

As I'm a day scholar student, I don't know much about hostel and mess, but my friends told it was some what good comparatively other private hostels around us. And the canteen facility was somewhat decent.

A brief walkthrough of college.

Placement Experience:

Our college is good at placements.This year 2026 there were nearly 250 who got placed in Infosys.Mostly cognizant,infosys etc comes to our college.At present the highest package of our college is 50 lakhs and then 22 lakhs so we can expect 10 lakhs as average salary.

My Experience at VIIT Visakhapatnam

Placement Experience:

The placements offered in this year i.e, 2026 passed out batch is higher and better companies have been visited to the campus this year. For mechanical engineering students the companies like L&T, Infosys, Milekal, Airtel, IMEG, ND Matrix, etc have been nviusited to the campus for recruitment.

From 4th year 1st semester eligible for placements and we can apply on superset platform it is really helpful which shows eligibility criteria . Highest package of our college was 54 LPA from amazon.

Good placement guidance and opportunities

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligibile for campus placements. there are various companies visited our campus like ndmatrix, effctronics, moschip, infosys and many other. The highest package is about 8lpa and average package is about 4 to 4.5lpa and the percentage of getting placement in our branch is around 85% and more

My Experience as a Data Science Student

Placement Experience:

The college provides good placement training through CRT classes, aptitude sessions, coding practice, and workshops. Students become eligible for placements from the third year onwards. The college also encourages students to participate in internships and project-based learning activities. Different companies visit the campus for recruitment and offer roles in software, technical support, and other technical domains. The average package offered is decent for freshers, and students with good technical and communication skills have better placement opportunities. My plan after completing the degree is to improve my practical skills and build a career in the technology and data science field. Overall, the college supports students in improving employability and placement readiness.

I personally feel course curriculum doesn't matter much, It's Your passion that matters. But i feel that the curriculum is very Good. Timing of exams is Good. I think Teachers should use the ppt less. That's it.

Why I take the cyber security is because there are so many injustices in these days I chose cyber security course to reduce them. I chose this course to bring about a change in the society. Term Exams are for six months out of which the syllabus is completed in three months and preparation for the exams is done.
