Likes

The university provides world class industry labs.
Well equipped labs for all domains and they encourage to build projects.
The campus ambience and greenery is an eye catcher.

Dislikes

I didn’t like the mindset of the people in the campus including faculties.
The university is 35kms away from the city.
The mess food is average and amongst that kerala mess is the better one.

Course Curriculum Overview

There is no relevance with the current industry standards and also i chose this course as i saw potential for development and research in this field with the rapid innovation in the AI field. There is a lot of room for improvement like teaching the current industry practices and it's basics.

Class Size: 38Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fees was somewhere around 1200000 which excludes hostel amount which is somewhere around 300000 in total for the entire course duration. There is an exam fee also which is to be payed every semester that is 500 per exam.

Campus Life

There are two fests one is Mindkraft and the other one is megaplay where one is technical and the other is non technical. The library is very well equipped with latest books and there is very little chance / encouragement for sports.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is really bad nothing is good about it and the hostel faculty is really bad i would never suggest anyone to come and reside here and there is no option for PG or rented accommodation. Very bad overall

Admission

I had applied to SRM University and i had been accepted there but then my cousin suggested Karunya and i applied here as the calling here came first and in this college it's just an exam for name sake and provisional admission by paying 50k can be easily obtained.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is not balanced there are shortages in faculty and sometimes inexperienced faculty are brought in to teach complex subjects. The exams are difficult and there are only around 60% students clearing the exams and the faculty is just fine nothing to be proud of.

Interview Experience

Nothing as such it was just an elementary exam and a few questions on why i chose the course and the college and also there wasn't any GF rounds and nothing related to my problem solving skills / aptitude.

Night Life

There is no nightlife it's more of a nightmare in the hostel we cannot even take a room or PG we are forced to stay in the college hostel. The SRA's and warden's are the worst u will literally feel they aren't humans they treat students like their toys. I would never suggest the hostel life

Placements start from third year of college. The college gives opporutnites for internships through IAESTE and professors personally take out their time to procide internship opportunities. Almost hundred perecentrage placements were offered in my batch and I had recieved 3 opportunities.

An Amazing Lookback of College Days

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed and covered both fundamental and advanced concepts. We choose elective papers each sem one paper from third sem. That selection of elective papers made us to do case study of real world exposure and competency. The curriculum prepared us for the reasonable real world applications. Also workshops and internships bridged the gap between industry expectations and academics. The teaching methods are really supportive and knowledgeable. On the whole the curriculum was strong and but needs to be imapctful.

Balanced College with all Facilities.

Placement Experience:

Overall, the college maintains a placement rate of around 75-80%, which is quite strong compared to may private institutions. Most students who are eligible and actively participate in placement training are able to secure jobs.

Best college of my life

Placement Experience:

7th semester eligible to campus. I attended 3 companies I got offers from 2 companies. 230000 to 400000 offering campus placement companies. 75 percent of students got campus placements. I got a job through campus and joined.
