Course Curriculum Overview
wide yet detailed study of important concepts related to the discipline, newer things to learn and quite practical in accordance to the current trends. tests and quizes are taken place to track progress and make learning mkre fun. exams aren't that frequent, a mid sem and an sem and difficulty level would depend on your preparation but i wouldn't call it difficult
Fees and Financial Aid
year wise tuition for B.A (h) psychology is 35,100 which is understable as it is a practical subject and the course fee for the above mentioned course is almost similar all over DU. Fee concessions are also provided depending upon economic background.
Campus Life
I am in two socities and both of them are extremely devoted. other than that it's mandatory for students to join one between NCC, NSS, which helps student be out there. annual fest of DRC is called manjari. during that season numerous socities also conduct their individual fests, events, and competition.
Admission
Daulat Ram College has one of the best faculties for psychology hence it was top three in my preference list. Very active in extra curricular activities along with an amazing faculty. other colleges above this were Lady Shri Ram college and Jesus and Mary college. i missed both those colleges by 20,25 marks. Lady Shri Ram is the best for psychology followed by a tie between JMC and DRC in my opinion. although JMC's western music society was my key interest and the location of the college which is chanakya puri made me put it in second.
Faculty
amazing faculty for my department, very inclusive and experienced in their specific discipline. lessons are planned properly, engaging classes. Professors are friendly and available round the clock in case of doubts. many activities organised by the department and it's association.
Night Life
there's ample amount of option around DRC as it is a north campus college. special mention would be Bistro, Tom uncle's maggi, and numerous local vendors. not too sure about gym and other activities but since the areas near this college was kamla nagar and vijaynagar, there are ample amount of options to choose from and hangout with friends.
