I didn't choose this college actually I did mistake in preference list during CUET which made this college first preference if I am to compare my college with other colleges on different parameters the college administration is quite helpful unlike other colleges which makes students works easier also it has big auditorium which lacks in most DU colleges which is helpful to conduct programs and functions. My parents are very strict and therefore they made it a point that they will allow me to study only in a girls college. Definitely LSR was my first choice but the cutoff was so high that i could not make it. I chose this college mainly because it was one of the better options available to me in North Campus and I really wanted a good academic environment The admission was not very difficult for me because I had a quota which helped in getting this course The priority subjects for this course are PCB but students from other streams can also get admission through CUET I got Daulat Ram College in the third round with a cutoff of around 300 marks with quota Without quota the cutoff was much higher around 450 I had applied to many colleges including Hindu College and Gargi College but I could not make it there because my CUET score did not meet their cutoff criteria The CUET system works on a preference based allocation so even though you do not receive a formal rejection mail you are automatically moved to lower preferences if you do not qualify for higher ones Technically I was rejected by Hindu and Gargi due to cutoff limitations ,In the second round I got Mata Sundri College for Sanskrit Honours and I attended it for about one week but my experience there was very disappointing There were only seven students in my course almost no activities and the environment felt dull and demotivating I did not feel happy or confident there In the first round I did not get any college at all so compared to that Daulat Ram College was a much better option Overall the admission process through CUET was smooth but stressful due to multiple rounds...Read More

I gave CUET after my boards for applying to delhi university. I approximately filled 70 preferences of colleges with course. Daulat Ram College was my 17th preference. I didn't get into colleges in top of my preference list because I didn't clear their required cutoff. In my first round of allocation I got Atma Ram Sanatan Dharm college and after applying for upgrade I grabbed Daulat Ram.
