Course Curriculum Overview

5

My course is ICT which is Information and communication technology under Bechlor of Technology I chose this course because it has both Software and hardware engineering which can open my opportunities from boht the sides. ICT is the most core branch of PDPU and offers more extra courses with it. Exams are also easy and scheduled time to time

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly I pay 3 lakh rupees for tution fee in which 10000 is Library deposit fee (refundable) and I am from General Students of Gujarat get some scholarship from Govn for scoring above 80 PR in boards or jee

Campus Life

5

Social culture and Opportunities in this college is much more than other colleges. It has 3 main Committees SNT Which is responsible for tech clubs and events, SNC which is responsible for cultural clubs of pdpu and events and One is Sports Committee which organises the sports events

Admission

I wanted to study for Computer science but then I researched that Semiconductors field is leading these days in every tech so I chose ICT over CSE and Only some colleges like PDEU and DAIICT were offering this course so I preferred it. I got offer from MIT wpu, Medi caps and many more colleges but declined it. To get admission in PDPU you can apply from ACPC and JEE mains score

Faculty

3

Faculty ratio in pdpu is 1:20 for different different courses some faculties like Dr Dalshit and Dr Adeeba Umar is good but some of them like Dr. Vivek and Dr Vinay Vakariya does not even listen to the students

Night Life

5

Night life at pdpu campus is really good. They have many shops at cafeteria for different different food items like Nescafe and also has a premium lounge cafe known as Freezeland which offers variety of food items. At night anybody from their hostel can access the campus for refreshment and walk with friends till 10 pm. And its 100% safe for every girl

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well-strutured and covers fundamental concepts in a clear and systematic manner. As a first-semester student I found the subjects helpful in building a strong base for futher studies. The syllabus balances theory with practical exposure which helps in understanding real-worls applications.Faculty members explain concept clearly, through adding more hands-on projects and industry-oriented topics would make the curriculum even better.Overall the curriculum is relevent comprehensive and suitable for beginners but it can be improved with more practical sessions and updated content aligned with current industry trends.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.
