Course Curriculum Overview

2

It is pretty old like why are we studying engineering graphics, evs , applied physics when i opted for ai ml course shouldn't they teach me machine learning, ai , small models , large models , about gpus etc ? But we are still studying irrelevant things which are not useful for our future

Internships Opportunities

3

Intership are provided by college and through different societies which are mostly paid and if you want you can do intership on your own from any other firm. For intership we do need to have some projects , prototypes etc to qualify.

Placement Experience

4

In 6th semester the students get eligible for campus placements. Company that visited last time were amazon, infosys, zepto, paytm etc. The highest package which recently got placed was of around 60-80 lpa. And lowest was for 5lpa 90% students got offers from companies My plan after the degree is to start my own agriculture firm.

Fees and Financial Aid

I joined MAIT in 2025 and during admission i paid 200K ruppees as fees for first year in btech cse ai ml . Tution fees is 200k ruppees but as my rank in jee was low so i took admission through management quota for which i had to pay extra 8lakhs apart from tution fees. Tution fees of everyone in my course is same which is 2lakh ruppees. I dont think that there are any scholarships provided by the college itself, idk as i just joined the college.

Campus Life

4

In this months there were fests like 2-3. In the college there are many bhandaras for students on different ocassion like saraswati puja, or on first day of college. The library is very good imo there are 4 floors and each floor is fully air conditioned and there are books for every course at different levels of library. The sports is not that good as not everyone can come for training as only team members are allowed for training. There are many socities which are cool. I joined csi-iw as it conducts hackathon, events , fests for students.

Admission

I heard and saw that the placement of this college is good and not that strict about attendance. I took admission through management quota for which i gave 8lakhs apart from fees. When i went for documents verification there was a lot of crowd and it took like hours to get things done as there were many students and less faculty to get through documents.

Faculty

3

There is a mentor for every 35 students. In my class where there are 84 students the students are divided into groups of M1,M2,M3 and each group has seperate mentor and seperate lab teacher. There's Tina mam , basant kumar sir which i liked as they both were pretty cool teachers. I didnt like vandana mam as she is like , she comes to class , teaches and then just leaves so no interaction. And other teachers are pretty average. There is 2 mid sem, 2end sem, finals every year and practicals so more than 6 exams per year.

Night Life

5

Gym is only accessible for hostel students not for college students. The cafeterias are pretty good apart from their french fries every other thing is pretty good. There are 3 cafeterias as far as i have explored. There is everything from coffee to meals. Campus timing are from 8am to 4pm for first batch. Famous places outside the college is pacific mall which is pretty close to college via metro and theres a punjab sweets just opposite to college their food is so good ????.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university doesn't beat around the bush while deciding the courses. They have picked only the subjects and the curriculum that are suitable for our field and focus on making us future-ready. Some subjects might seem a little fast-paced, but if you are consistent enough, you won't face any problems. It is safe to say that the exams and things taught in most the subjects are same to that of its so there is no lacking behind in that aspect.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college used to be good, with almost 100% placement rates. But that hasn't been the case lately. There has been a significant drop in placement rates from the past couple of years, mainly because of the lack of job oppertunities and declining job markets. But, the placements are still better as compared to private colleges, NITs and newer IITs. The placements here are conducted in 2 phases. Phase 1 placements start in August- September, with the interviews starting from 1 December. The phase-2 placements start from January and then go on for entire semester. The student becomes eligible for sitting in placements in their 7th semester. While phase 2 placements are still not over for this year, I can share the placements stats of previous year. Around 70% students sitting for placements got placed. Rest students either prepare for civil services, or for higher studies like M.Tech, MBA,PhD, etc., but their percentage is very less. Most students come here only for internships and placements. The average package package for previous year was around ?15-16 LPA, and median package was around ?14 PLA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with practical modules and industry-focused content that influenced my choice. It effectively bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications. However, adding more case studies and interdisciplinary approaches could enhance learning. Exams are well-timed but could better assess critical thinking. Teaching methods would benefit from integrating more interactive and hands-on sessions.
