Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would rate the course curriculum at GTBIT around 8/10 in terms of relvance and comprehensiveness. The curriculum is designed according to the guidelines of GGSIPU Uiversity and covers the fundamental as well as advanced concepts required in the engineering fields.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee Structure for my bath is approx. ?1.45 -?1.60 lakhs in the first year, including tuition fees, university charges, caution money, alumni fund, insurance charges, and other one-time fees. From the second year onwards, the annual fee is generally around ?1.30 - ?1.45 lakh, depending on the revision made by the college and university. Year wise Fee Strucuture 1st year : - Tuition Fee: ?1,11,000 - University Charges: ?20,000 - Insurance & ID Card Charges: ?100 - Alumni Contribution Fund: ?2,000 - Book Bank Charges:?6,000 Caution Money: ?10,000 Total: Aprox. ?1,49,000 2nd Year : Tuition fee and other charges approx. ?1.25 3rd year: Tuition Fee and other charges approc. ?1.25 4th year: tuition fee and other charges approx ?1.30 Scholarship Available : 1. Merit Cum Means Scholarship for MInority Students 2. Delhi Government Higher Education Scholarship Schemes. 3. Post-Matric Scholarhip for SC/ST/OBC students.

Campus Life

4

My overall campus life experience at GTBIT has been positive and balanced. The college proved a good environment for both academic growth and extracurricular development. Although the campus is relatively compact compared to some larger engineering college, studnet actively participate in various technical, cultural, and social activites throughout the year.

Admission

I choose GTBIT primarily because of it strong reputation among GGSIPU University affliated colleges, decent placement records, experienced faculty and convenient location in Delhi. While selecting a college, I considered facors such as placement, academic, environment, affordability, campus connectivity, and overall return on investemtn. I had also considered other GGSIPU colleges such as MAIT, MSIT, BPIT.

Faculty

4

The faculty memeber at GTBIT are generally experienced, knowledgeable and supportive. Most professor have good academic backgrounds and are always willing to help studnets with doubts related to academics, project and placements. The faculty to student ratio is decent interation betweern student and teacher. Most faculty memebers are approachabel and encourage students to participate in technical activities and internships

Night Life

4

GTBIT is primarily a day scholar college, so the nighlife on campus is relatively limited compared to residential universities. However, being located in Rajouri Garden, one of the most vibrant areas of West Delhi, student have plenty of options to relax and socialize after classes. The college lirary, laboratories, and academic blocks generally operate during college hours and close by the evening. The cafeteria remians active throughout the day and serves as a commom meeting point for studnets betwwen lectures and after classes. Most studnet spend their free time int eh canteen, open seating areas, and nearby food outlets around the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university doesn't beat around the bush while deciding the courses. They have picked only the subjects and the curriculum that are suitable for our field and focus on making us future-ready. Some subjects might seem a little fast-paced, but if you are consistent enough, you won't face any problems. It is safe to say that the exams and things taught in most the subjects are same to that of its so there is no lacking behind in that aspect.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college used to be good, with almost 100% placement rates. But that hasn't been the case lately. There has been a significant drop in placement rates from the past couple of years, mainly because of the lack of job oppertunities and declining job markets. But, the placements are still better as compared to private colleges, NITs and newer IITs. The placements here are conducted in 2 phases. Phase 1 placements start in August- September, with the interviews starting from 1 December. The phase-2 placements start from January and then go on for entire semester. The student becomes eligible for sitting in placements in their 7th semester. While phase 2 placements are still not over for this year, I can share the placements stats of previous year. Around 70% students sitting for placements got placed. Rest students either prepare for civil services, or for higher studies like M.Tech, MBA,PhD, etc., but their percentage is very less. Most students come here only for internships and placements. The average package package for previous year was around ?15-16 LPA, and median package was around ?14 PLA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with practical modules and industry-focused content that influenced my choice. It effectively bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications. However, adding more case studies and interdisciplinary approaches could enhance learning. Exams are well-timed but could better assess critical thinking. Teaching methods would benefit from integrating more interactive and hands-on sessions.
