A ride to my college-VIT Bhopal

As I have some interest in breaking up problems and coding attracts me, CSE pulls me. And also this time demands CS engineers who can make developments so another points that made me choose this course. The curriculum helps in building the mind to that level and also helps in building mental and social relations too with others.

Have no idea about internships or something that is done in our college but students tries to get internships by their own and if not then college tries to provide the internship to that student. Projects and skills should be done.

I do not have the detailed knowledge about placements of our college but i guess 900+ companies visits yearly in our college and almost every student gets placed. Big companies and MNCs also comes in our college to hire. 90%+ students get placed. I will going to have a job after getting the degree and will not go for higher studies.

The fees category is divided into 5 categories. Category 1 has 2 lakh/yr fees, cat. 2 has 3 lakh/yr , cat. 3 has 4 lakh/yr, cat 4 has 4.5 lakh/yr and cat 5 has 5 lakh/yr of tution fees. Categories depends on the your rank and the availability of the seats in the particular course. Caution fees is 15k which is refundable. No scholarships are provided.

Three annual/sports event occurs. Advitya in the start of year (Feb) , the biggest of our college than Avaahan that is after summer breaks and Aarambh that get started in the last week of nov or starting of December. Many technical,non technical and cultural clubs are here and events used to happen daily generally.

Fans, lights, beds, study table, chair, in built rack and an almirah is provided and a window too for ventilation. Room is quite good and food quality is also far better than many government or private colleges.

Couldn't get much percentile in JEE to get a GOOD gov colleges otherwise could have got IIITs and a few NITs. This college is private but still better than many and many other private colleges in India. Better than 80-85% of Colleges in India (Acc to ChatGPT). To get in this, you have to give VITEEE exam and get a good rank.

There are two types of classes in which either 75 or lesser students in a class or around 120-150 students in a class. Faculties waits after the class to resolve doubts if any. Some faculties I really liked - Bhumika Chowksi( Maths teacher) because of her teaching style and nature, Dev Brat Gupta (Best English teacher ever seen). Don't really like Sharad Chandra Tripathi (doesn't teaches in the class but gives a very hard paper). There are Mid term examination (50 marks, 5 questions, each 10 Marks) and Term End Examination (100 Marks, 10 Questions, 5 questions*12 and 5 questions*8). Failuiof students depends on how much serious the students are.

You can't go outside of your hostels after 9 PM. Roaming isn't allowed outside of hostels at night. Gymd are there for both boys and girls that is free and just near to hostels. Library is their in the Academic blocks and Lab Complex and a lot of cafes are there in the campus itself. To hangout, Ujjain, Indore and Bhopal are nearest option available.
