Whether you should join VIT bhopal or not

Curicullum is very well designed, its designed based on which things are important right now in the market and based on real world applications, Areas of improvement are qcm meetings should be improvised and it should be mandatory that faculties complete syllabus otherwise action should be taken against them . For example a faculty named tauseef qamar doesnt teach anything, always talk politics in class. Frequency of exam is well maintained.

Internships are provided by companies like delloite ,infosys ,tata,tcs. If we talk about projects then AIML students mostly build machine learning models and cybersecurity students fix different bugs .

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

The year wise tution fees i have paid for 1st year was 198000 per annum ie the category 1 fees, hostel fee 157000 and for 2nd year the academic fee was same but hostel fee was 160000.For category 2 tution fee is 300000 and category 3 fees is 400000 and category 4 fees is 450000 and category 5 fees is 500000. 100 % Scolarship ie fee wavier was given to state toppers and other fees deduction were based on viteee result

A lot of techincal and cultural festivals happen in our college. Say atleast you will get one or two hackathon event per month and a lot of cultural festivals from different states. Talking about libraries they got a lot of books from self help to science and technology and newspaper and monthly magazines. Class room follow CALTech method ie collaborative learning and technology and every class has wifi connections and projectors .Sports facilities are not that good. You must have your own sports equipments , only thing they have is a big field and a small indoor sports complex. Theres no student protals , the mostly used website is VTOP where students can acces their marks attendence and can apply for leave access academic calender.

Hostel facilities depend on which type of room you choose , Most students take 4 bed bunk type room because its fun , doesnt matter AC or non AC but in my opinion AC rooms are not worth it because its not that hot here and Ac room price is higher than normal. In general mess food is good but crcl mess ie mess of block 1 is not good . Mayuri mess is god. For hostel you get a link from college mail ID and register your preference and rooms are allotted on the basis of class attendance . To rent a PG you have to go to Kothri

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees.

faculty to student ratio is good like every 75 student you get 1 faculty, some faculties are approachable and some arent. Faculties I liked were Kiran Kumar Behera ,Nitin Kumar Mishra, Monalisa bhattacharjee, Devbrat Gupta , Monica Sankat because they were very approachable faculties> Faculties I didnt like were Mohammad Sultan he just ask students to make research paper and give credit to him and publish so that he can have more patents. Based on this he gives internal marks . Very bad teacher

Gym facility is availavble in our college and gym timings are 6 am to 9am in morning and 4pm to 8 pm in evening from monday to saturday. Gyms are closed on Sundays. Mess timing is 7.30 am to 9 am for breakfast . for lunch its 12.30 pm to 2 pm and for evening snacks its 5pm to 6 pm and dinner timing is 7.30 pm to 8.45 pm and night canteen is there in hostel tho they are closed after 9 pm . In university campus there are various Cafes like bestrow underbelly, mayuri and a restaurant as well. Talking about place to hangout theres no special place but students do hangout in garden. Hostel timings are 8 pm for boys hostel , if somone has went out then he must return befor 8 pm to hostel and for girls its 7 pm. Locality is sade to roam around in night time.,
