What Students Say

Likes

The space around. It's is near and clean
The library they thave a lot of books as well as we can borrow them 7 books per time
It also has a good canteen and a well placed sports arena . The classrooms are too good

Dislikes

It is not a big campus at all as it did not have a field inside
They are very strict but supportive also but for me the fees is little too high
If you forget to wear your id card they won't permit you inside

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers there are great. Even though a teacher is absent of that subject substitute teache will come and take his/her class accordingly. They truly help us a lot and the ambience they create there is unbelievable

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 42500 per year

Placement Experience

Here placement are decent I have no knowledge about the highest package went but yeah it is good for a newbie in the job world . Though I k doing CA with bcom hons so I don't think I'll go that way . That's it

Fees and Financial Aid

For admission it is around 42500 and per semester it is around 39000(for morning section)it is different from evening and afternoon section . Till now the fees didn't increased. The do give scholarships based on your merit in class 12 boards .

Campus Life

The campus there is superb everything is neat and clean. The support staff and teachers are great even out dean sir too . Everyone is Frank enough there and it has ac all over classrooms and enough space to sit comfortably

Admission

I applied for umeshchndra college Scottish Church and goenka I got selected in both umeshchndra and Scottish but I chose bhawanipur bcs you can get there above or on 75% or below and here anti ragging committee is there

Faculty

The faculties there are very supportive for students . They listen to our problems and try to solve then . They even have free counselling and lots of course some of which you get refund of your course fees after completing it

Night Life

The most attractive part of our college is the sports arena it has only indoor games but we too have small artificial field inside the campus where we can play tennis ball cricket or volleyball or it can be used as function also

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell club which functions in the college itself which is efficient in providing over 67 to 98% of students with placements. This percentage can vary for different years and different courses. The college has been successful in attracting top recruiters like deloitte, wipro, TCS, and leader companies from various other sectors. Packages vary significantly from 4 to 6 LPA up to 24LPA. After getting my degree i am planning to first make sure that i have completed my CA course that i am pursuing alongside. And then going ahead with either a job outside kolkata or open a business in kolkata itself.

Having fun at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum aligns well with the professional courses like CA and CMA. it has a lot of classes like value added course, modern indian language etc. which help us grow overall. The seminars are very helpful. We submit presentations on rela world topics which prepare us beyond the clasroom. It could be improved to reduce the excess theory portions. The frequency and timing is wonderful.

Beyond Books : Life at St. Xaviers

Placement Experience:

The students from their 3rd year become eligible for campus placement. Different companies including the Big 4 like Deloitte KPMG etc made offers in 2024-25 and the average package offered in BCOM was 4.5 LPA. I plan on sitting for the placements after i get my degree, that is if im not pursuing my articleship at the time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always want to build my career in commerce and my aim is to be a chartered accountant. So I took this course because the syllabus of CA and B.com is the same. our college faculties are so helpful. They always come forward to resolve our academic and nonacademic doubts. Their teaching methods are also good. we don't need to purchase any book, their notes are enough for our syllabus.

The besc life

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me .
