The most liked thing of this college is the well knowledged and experienced faculty along with innovative workshops and it have maintained classrooms as well as labs
Campus is quite large including many sports ground and resting areas.
This college organized several workshops related to your field.

Dislikes

The disliked thing is that the colour of building is so fade and they didn't work on its infrastructure
Second disliked thing is that they do not organise travel camps
Third disliked thing is that it have no girls at all.

I have choosen this college because this is one of the most reputed college in uttrakhand and maintain a good placement record for every branch students. Even they conduct exams at a fast pace in first year but after that they give proper time to students for acquiring skills for their future placements.

After completing your first year in this college you can apply for various internship programms and can do paid or unpaid type internships for 2 to 6 months and gain experience but you have to aquire some technical skills and good communication skills to be part of internship programms.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hello!! Myself Piyush dangwal and currently I am pursuing btech in computer science engineering from GKV Haridwar. The yearly fee structure for this college is about 1 lakh 20 thousand per year and this charge is for four year. You can also apply for diffrent scholarships here like Nsp, up scholarship etc although approval process for scholarship is quite tough but after that it will be 100% gurrented that you will be selected for scholarship merit.

Campus Life

This college organizes many sporting events like cricket cup,basketball and volleyball tournament and organized a fest called jyanagni which last for four days where lots of activities like dancing , singing and sporting event happens and at last a edm night happens which is a great fun.

Admission

Well this college is only the best college in uttrakhand for doing btech because it is well disciplined college along with the faculty member having 95% placement records. The admission procees for this college is that you have to appear for jee mains examination and have to score a decent percentile.

Faculty

No objection for faculty because every teacher is well experienced and well knowledged person who takes classes time to time and support students in times of facing problem. This college conducts two sessional examination each of 20 marks and one semester exam of 70 marks where marking is done quite moderate.

Night Life

College Hostel have well equipped gym where we have to pay for monthly membership and college campus have a good and clean canteen along with a mess for hostel students where they can have food.college have a library where student can purchase book for their studies and can prepare for the exams

My college review

Placement Experience:

Stuiarw eligible for placement from 6th semester . There are so many companies visited such as wipro, Deloitte, hcl, tech Mahindra, TCS, and many more. Highest package of BTech is 1.24 cr and average package is 40000. Percentage of students get placed is 60%. My plan after degree is to get an good it job.

GEU is an adventure!

Placement Experience:

Room for placements can't be better than GEU. As our department which isn't much in demand and still over 80% of placements rate itself is a story worth telling. I am so glad that it is happening and this is the reason I feel so good studying here as I can't do more as placements care are taken by the university very well.

GEU is super amazing!

Placement Experience:

It's in the final year as once the final year begins, students are asked to pull their socks up and go limitless as nearly 100 or rather much more are there at the campus and interest in CSE students is the highest. Also, there's a large section of IT students who are placed from GEU every year and that too without much of an effort.

Versatile college with good RoI

Placement Experience:

One of the best thing I saw here is placement. If a student is willing to do job then this college is appropriate place from him or her.. Students are placed in IT , SALES , FINANCE, EDTECH , TRANSPORT, DRUGS , etc Students are eligible for jobs and placed from the beginning of pre final semester and can apply in each and every company as per required skills. Not big tech Faang companies visit the campus but a decent level IT companies and limited visit the campus. And conduct their interviews and exams process. Although interview rounds are tough and offcourse nail biting competition among the students. The highest package this year till now 34 LPA by an American MNC . Average package is 550000. Approximately 90 percent students got placed in different domains and fields. My plans are so clear. I will take the job first in IT companies and get some experience on ground level and will grow further.

GEU is a world class place to study!

Placement Experience:

Pringle, The Sleep Co, Lenskart, Luscious, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Google, Facebook and every tech company which potentially can come have come to our college for placements. On and average placements worth 6-40 LPA are common. Since some students miss out so on a whole the placements average stands a little below 10 LPA.

Life at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV, Haridwar)

I choose this college because it is old esteemed deemed to be university. It is one of the oldest university in India with much good prestige in lists of college. It is internationally recognized good institution as stated by the government of India. It is NAAC accredated and also UGC funded university. It is purely boys college, no girls are allowed admission in this college. This institution is managed by the Arya Samaj with collaboration with the state government. It comes under GFTI. I got rejection from Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. My JEE Mains rank was not as much as it was required to take admission into Delhi Technological University. I was not able to score better in my JEE Mains examination, so my JEE Mains rank was not sufficient to get a seat in this college.
