GURUKUL KANGRI - THE GEM

College mainly focus on the placement area and case based problem because we have very less placement as compared to other colleges so they mainly focus on building students skills and personality development so i choose this course . Course curriculum is very nice because they omitted all distractions from the college like girls . Improvent should be their in fees because they give very less facillities and make very good money . Timings of exams are of 3 hrs. They take exam very strictly . Difficulty level is very easy and moderate .

Total fees taken by the college in 4 years is 500000 250000 for hostel and mess fees. Library fees - 42000 Admission fees - 68000 Sem 1 fees - 68000 sem 2 fees - 58000 fees are same for all my batchmate and there is fee waiver for SC/STs because they are priviledged . Scholarship are different for all states .

Technical fest name is JANAGANI which is famous in haridwar for its tech challenges but from few years they are not putting their money into this . It is basically held in the month of december . Books and library are there in a big room but it should be more big as it is very small but they give good facilities in this also . So i spend most of the time in library . Classrooms are like a Normal classroom only but there is projectors, digital board, and speaker in CS classroom and AC in SEMINAR HALL . Sports curriculum held every week and we get chance to play but in summer season we don't play in ground ,we play indoor games during that time . Clubs are there like GDSC,MICROSOFT,E-CELL,PLACEMENT-CELL,UDHYAM etc.

They provide rooms bathroom and mess facilities and take 3000 as a security money when we opt for hostel . They provide all the facilities but they provide single batroom in which 20 students goes whcih is a big problem . Meal quality is also very bad because they add insects in the food which they want us to eat very bad mess quality is there . PG nearby is like SRINIDHI BOYS HOSTEL , AASHIRVAD BOYS HOSTEL etc.

I applied for too many colleges but i get this college because i get very less percentile in jee so i decided to choose this college and this course . Yes i get rejection but i never regret of it because this college is also like my dream college because i don't have to bother more about anything in this college . Admission is taken directly by the college and also by CSAB OR JOSAA COUNSELLING .

Faculty to student ratio is good as they help in all of the problems of ours. They are approachable after the class. Mayank sir is my favourite as he help in career guidance and placement help is given by him on behalf of suyansh sir . That's why i don't like suyansh sir , as he gives all his work to mayank sir . Exams are taken twice in a year . Practical exams are compulsory and scoring so we mainly focus on practicals exam . Exams are cleared very easily by the students .Course curriculum is very relevant as they help in making and building our iwn startup.

Gym near the stadium and playground is there which is open for all . It remains open all the time . But library and campus timing are same i.e.10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Cafeterias and mess are there in the hostel and campus . Their timing starts from 8:00 AM in morning and 10:00 PM at night . Hangout places inside the hostel is yagyashala and campus is sports room and outside is ganga river in HARKI PAURI . Nightout places are like university garden .
