GURUKUL KANGRI UNIVERSITY - REVIEW

I chose this college because of its good placement in EE department and it is also a GFTIs college so i choose this course . Real world application based problem is the only moto of our department because we have to mainly work on the machine tools only . Areas of improvement should be there in the department of EE in the side of case based problems on AI and all . Timings are same for all department i.e. 3hrs. Difficulty level is moderate and easy for those who study everyday .

Total fees in first year is 127000 for 1st sem - 68000 for 2nd sem - 58000 total fees in second year is 124000 for 3rd sem - 68000 and same for all years and hence total fees i 4 years become 5 lakhs . Fees for all my colleagues are same as like that of mine . Scholarship are given only to UP students by the state of UP govt.

The annual fest name here is JANAGANI held only in the month of december in a year . Books and journals are there in the university library also Museum is there for better understanding about our history . Classrooms are there with all basic devices like projectors, CCTV, DIGITAL BOARD , ARDUINO etc. Sports are there for all department but it is once in a week . Sports room is also there . Students get all equipment from there . Social run group are like NSS, NCC, UDHYAM etc. Clubs like GDSC , IBM LAB , PYTHON LAB , LABORATORY , E-CELL , PLACEMENT- CELL etc.

Hostels are very good because we were provided with personal Almirah, bed matresses, table , chair , water purifier and wi-fi facilities were also there . Meal quality was like ok-ok but not ok for health as they don't maintain hygeine in the mess and cooking area . food menu are like same vegetables sabji every night and no non- veg is there only bhej . Registration process is very simple, they give a form to fill who want to live in hostel and then just pay all the fees of year and then they allot you the hostel . Locality nearby for rent is in Dwarika bihar side area and other locality is jwalapur and bhadrabad .

I have applied for many colleges in counselling but i was not getting EE branch in any of the college, i get low branch like biotechnology in all . But in the CSAB round i get this college so i choose this college with my favourite branch i.e.EE. Yes, I get rejection from all top colleges but at the end I landed here in this college i.e. GKV. Admission is taken through counselling and directly from college also . Eligibility is jee aspirant and above 60 percentile .Overall admission process is simple and good .

Faculty to student ratio is good and relationship depends upon student behaviour because as we do like they do sometime they become angry when we don't complete our project . They are approachable as they help in curriculum understanding . I like Panwar sir as he was the EX-DEAN of our college and his teaching methods is good but having very low voice . I don't like Amresh sir because he is too bad as he become angry very quickly . Exams are taken twice in a year with practicals , sessionals , semesters and other exams is external and internal of the practicals only . All students clear exam easily but some get fail.

Group Discussions is taken by our communication skills teacher he helps in building my confidence because I am an introvert students never faced any big challenges like public speaking in front of people and students but my communication skills professor MR. PRASHANT KAUSHIK helps me in improving my speaking skills . I am so grateful to him for this . Topics were related to technology like advantage and disadvantage of mobile . Also he shows his resume and gmail which he sent to HR during his placement journey . Process was simple , he divides students in two group one with pros and others with cons and after that he calls one students from both sides and ask to tell about their topic. Other criteria for admission is just go in the admission cell and pick the no. that is given there and call on it after that they will tell you to come on campus and pay all the fees .After that they give you the admission, If still not get admission then call on the no. which i give you i.e. 7300761272. I prepare by writing all the thing in my copy which i have to deliver in front of all . Writing in copy helps me in improving my writing skill and also gives me confidence to deliver the speech.

Gym is there in the university near the PT. LEKHRAM HOSTEL where we live one year .Cafeterias are there and its opening time is 8:00 AM and closing time is 10:00 PM . Library timings are same as that of campus timing i.e. 10:00 AM TO 5:00 PM . Hostel closes at 10:00 PM before that we have to enter in the college . Otherwise entry is not allowed. Hangout places are like the Cafeterias , library and other places like sportsroom and garden etc. Safe place to roam is university campus .
