Course Curriculum Overview

5

After Bsc i choose Msc so I have so much interest in that course. We study so many subjects like molecular biology, recombinant dna technology, genetics, biochemistry, cell biology, spanish, microbiology so on. Among them my favourite topic is cancer biology. We did so many lab work that was helpful to understand the subject well. And that is very helpful because we have we infrastructure in laboratory so work there.

Internships Opportunities

5

College prove our summer internship in there we work under our preferable professor and they give us topic to work in that subject. There are so many experiment happen in Amity so any one can take part in that. Our college doesn't provide any stipend for internship. There are so many projects like if anyone want to work cancer, genetics, molecular biology , RDT so students choose that and work on that project.

Fees and Financial Aid

1st semester fees: 64500+20000(caution money) = 84500 2nd semester fees: 645000 3rd semester fees: 67500 4th semester fees: 67500 I don't get any scholarship so my 1st year course fee is 1,49,000. And second year course fee is 1,35,000.

Campus Life

5

As I previously discuss that Amity University have well infrastructure so the campus are too good well maintained. In the Amity we see fest called Amiphoria and in our college we celebrate mahalaya, Christmas, freshers, farewell so many things. We have a big library in there we get so many books related to our course, that was helpful for us and Library maintain so strict security that's why anyone doesn't enter there only those have library card they go there. In Amity University we see so many sports like badminton, tug of war so on. We also have club for art, sketch, music , dance so people can join there take participates on that.

Admission

I choose this college because in Kolkata I visit so many college for taking addmission in Msc so I visit Amity University then I saw their lab that are too good all equipment are there and I also hear from senior that the faculty are too good they teach us well and amity University provide all the facilities we need so that's the main reason I choose Amity over another college. In Kolkata Amity University is the best private institutions.

Faculty

5

Our department AIBNK faculty members are too good they are so supportive and have well knowledge. Like our HOI sir is the best , he teaches us too good and too much helpful so we are comfortable with that. And our mentors are also good they are so helpful when we are in a problem they help us. Now I would like to say about exam, so we give two exam one is midsem and another is endsem. And we also present power point presentation (ppt), homeassignment etc. And if someone can't read properly so they fail in the exam but the rate are few like 1% in our Department. And we also maintain 75% attendance otherwise we get divert and can't seat for exam.

Night Life

5

We hangout in campus and also in canteen. They provide us good food and that are healthy. And our campus also we have CCD ( cafe coffee day) so we hangout there, spend our quality time. I am not hosteler so I have no experience but some of my friends are in hostel they say that are good. Hangout places like canteen, CCD and opposite our college there is a Coffee house Newtown so we go there.

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.

This year, three students of our batch, including me, got an internship for three months at Reborn through an in-person interview.
