CBPBU- Some Detailed Insights

Our University Curriculum is Based on All other Central University. Actually Masters is the Extended & More mathamaticak approach whatever we have seen in Our Bsc Physics. So we get here Mathamatical Physics, Classical Mechanics , Quantum Mechanics, Statistical mechanics & So on. We have here Astrophysics & Cosmology that's Completely New to Us. I being a dedicated In Nuclear physics, Seeing the Nuclear & Atomic Physics is a strong school in Our university is Interested in the Course . I would Like to mention that , CBPBU is Linked to IUCAA , i.e. university gets benefits of internship & Funding from IUCAA for organizing a lot of Seminars. Even we are eligible for IUCAA seminars & Summer Camps.

Actually, I am New to the University, and I have to go through it deeper to Know. But yes, the University offers a great chance for Library Internships for MLIS pass students. We also Grab Opportunities for Internships. Before some days, a Notification of Internship For SBI Youth was notified. National Biodiversity Authority also mentions Internships Here.

Actually Some of the Local Companies & Private banks Offer placements which are averagely worth 250000/-. Some of the Students appear for it , but the Number is Very less. Actually In Present Circumstances , Most students wants a stable Government, Especially Central Gov job . So they Prepare for exams like SSC , SBI , IBPS, LIC , RRB etc.

Actually Per semester fees is 1950 rupees , you can pay 3900 as a annual fee. This Msc Course includes 4 semester , i.e. two years. In this College We get West Bengal Government sponsored SVMCM scholarship which Funds 36000/- per year if we get marks average over 60%. And Fees distribution is Same for everyone. Scholarship Benefit is Great for this University whenever this is PhD case.

Overall Campus Life is Very enjoying. In the 1km range of The University, The Torsha River Flows . University is very joyful . Department organises every year freshers & farewell by its own self . Our Friend come From a very long distances like Assam. University has various Clubs like Cultural Club , Science Club. NCC & NSS units are also Presents here. University Organises Various Indoor & Outdoor sports every year like Table Tennis , Tennis , Badminton. This Tournament have Inter- Affiliated College modes & University Campus Modes. University Has also a Second Campus in Mathabhanga. Our Classroom has much Technologies like , Air Conditioners & Projectors etc. I think since this is a new university, Books are something less than Required. But we can access them Everything. Indeed library staffs are very helpful , we can use the Reading Room . University also Contain Refreshment centres & Canteen.

My CGPA is Very High 9.13 & I have got a chance in all other universities like NBU, APDU , RGU, GBU , VU , SKBU & many more.But the Fact is, Being a resident of Coochbehar I heard that the CBPBU physics department is dedicated for Teaching Physics. And It's situated in my hometown so I decided to study here. MSc degree is same overall in all West Bengal state government-sponsored university. So I hereby decided to study in my hometown rather than going outwards.In accordance to the WBHED notification, this University starts admission in Online mode. Process is very easy , They have 80:20 ratio for Home & Other university students & they consider CGPA of Graduation as the Merit Point. The Publish Provisional & Final Merit List. You just pay fees on appearing the name in Admission call list & you are admitted. After than, You have to appear in document verification.

Faculty Members are very Well Educated Here. I shall not mention their names here without permission, but most of them are Post Doctoral degree Holders, some are former teachers of a Foreign University. There are overall 4 Teachers, and some teachers will be recruited to fulfil Our Vacancies. I like all the teachers of my department. Faculty-to-student ratio is 4:40, I think. Classes are very regular. Exams are conducted every 6 months in the Semester CBCS Curriculum.

Near the University, there contains Various Charming Resturants of Coochbehar like Chennai Express , Dhamal Adda Etc. You can go to the Banks of Torsha near the University & the Coolness will Refresh you. Generally Students go to snacks aur Momo Shops after classes. In Nights , the area is very beautiful,pleasant cause the Roads are vacant & long. Each Hangout spots are near the University. There are 2 boys hostel & 1 girls hostel names Mansai & Torsha respectively. A walking in University road is itself very Refreshing. Student enjoy late-night activities like picnic, hangout here.
