Amity is the member of Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities. It is ranked number 1 according Central Asia magazine. Admission will be merit-based while the final selection will be done on the basis of GD/PI. I was asked to submit my 12th marksheet in which I scored 72%. The online application form costed around 1100 along with all necessary documents required had to be attached.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum sets the benchmarks of global education with a system that matches the best of practices, standards, theories, resources all over the world.The course curriculum of this university was very good and relevant. I choose BBA because I have an interest in this course and I want to grow my career in this field. Faculty Student ratio in this university was 1:50.They provided the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused discussions. They are augmented with integrated audio-visual teaching aids for lectures, presentations etc. Amity University has some of most talented leaders in the country who come from the best institutions around the world.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internships to the students who are in 4th semesters in graduation and also provided references which made my resume strong enough to get selected by the company. I got my summer internship in marketing department.
Placement Experience
Amity students have got on-campus placements in MNCs and top organisations. Leading companies across various disciplines come for campus placements at Amity. This achievement has been the result of the a 60-member team of dedicated members of the Amity Corporate Resource Centre that constantly interacts with the corporate world and helps prepare students for their careers. Corporate Resource Centre at Amity ensures the best placement for each student. CRC has been active in offering their support and consultation for future entrepreneurs looking to establish their own projects. I got my job in a reputed MNC with a package of 7Lpa.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My course was of 3 years for which I paid total fees around 5,70,000. For the 1st year, I paid approximately 2,00,000 and for rest of the semesters, I paid approximately 95,000 each. There are many scholarships which are provided by Amity University. But, I got the financial aid help that reduced pressure of my fees.
Campus Life
Students compete in 35 different sports and games including badminton, squash, basketball, volleyball, karate, judo, cricket, chess, swimming, tug of war to clinch the much-coveted trophies. The students of various institutions also present a colourful cultural programme depicting the different cultures followed in different states of India. faFace with global thought leaders, academic gurus and corporate heads to share their experiences.
Hostel Facilities
The university provides an on-campus hostel facility with full-security. The hostel accommodates a total of 700 students including 336 seats for boys and 364 seats for girls. Admission to the hostel is given on a first-serve basis. At the time of admission I paid the annual admission fees of 1Lac along with 10,000 security deposit which is refundable in nature.
Admission
Final selection round is group discussion. We were divided into groups of 10 students. We were given a topic to debate on. The faculty members marked us on the basis of confidence, relevant points and body language.
