Marian: a dream for many

OkThe course curriculum is a bit complex for someone new to the college. But once known, it would be easy to grasp every bit of it. Most of the topics being taught is relevant to the present scenario that includes papers like cyber security and laws, digital electronics and so on..

Like I said earlier, the college provides a lot of opportunities for interships and placements. Interships usually begin from the end of 2nd year or from 3rd year beginning . Companies like Federal hire students.

The college placements are exceptional to be honest.That is one of the main reasons that i chose this college. The average package would be around 30k as per my knowledge. More than 75 or 80 percentage of students gets placed at great and well established companies in or outside the state . My plan is to follow the same path and get a job that is technically relevant in the current world

The college offers a variety of cources that includes BCA, BBA ,BACE ,BSC MATHS ,BA ECONOMICS ,B.COM ,BSW and so on under the category of UG courses.From PG ,it would be MBA, MCom ,MCA, MSW, and so on...The college offers various opportunities to the students in the form of internships and placements. For hostelers, the fees are pretty much reasonable, with a monthly mess fees of 5000 rs which is so reasonable, considering the food they serve 4 times a day, with 6 days non veg and 1 day veg food .The campus is set up in the terrains of kuttikkanam ,a hill station in Idukki, kerala with a misty and snowy climate at most times. The reason I chose BCA here is because of the placement opportunities .Last year ,it was recorded that BCA Students were placed the most in well known companies . They have all the updated infrastructure for studies with a lot of cultural fests and events happening on almost all days . With almost around 3000 students, the campus is famous all around kerala .The college provides various scholarships based on the marks acquired by students in their 10th and 12th.One lf their main scholarship is the Marian scholarship worth 500 rs

The best part of the college to many is its balance between academics and culture.There isnt a single day in the campus without any event . Each department or each class has the right and freedom to organise events of their own. Apart from that the college itself hosts events once in every month that includes festivals like Caligo, onam , christmas, kerala piravi etc...

Room facilities are good. They give you charging ports for each member , along with cupboards for storing stuff . Now they are planning to fix fans in every room , though it isnt necessary considering the climate there in kuttikkanam. Registration process is simple with a lot of guidelines to be followed .

The reason why I chose this college abouve others is because of the facilities being provided at the minimum fees that is being deducted. Their placement rate is very high compared to other Colleges in kerala . I actually applied to another college called St Joseph's in Bangalore,but comparing it with Marian, it didnt meet my requirements.Hence it had to be opted out

The faculty members of Marian college Kuttikkanam is simply amazing, with a lot of experience as teachers and advisors. The Students get a lot of benefits from them in the form of various schemes related to the college or in the form of councelling sessions. They conduct regular examinations and the semester end examinations are mainly of 2 types.SEA 1 and SEA 2.

Yes and they were very much interested in me . They simply ask us to introduce ourself and to share experiences based on the goals that we set. They want us to be involved in every activity and aspects of the college

The night life is excellent, accompanied with the misty fog all around the hostels and campus. The college gym is one of the finest with a minimal fee of rs 200 per month .library is large and so quiet. People can access the library until 8.30 pm with almost 6 discussion rooms and many other places to read within the area .
