Course Curriculum Overview

The course taken in my college having the grate relevance and in addition to the graruation the college is providing the extra courses like life skill competency and other courses. Overoll the college is proving there best.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 44000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The Average course fees in an year is about 40000 ( for semesters ) and i opt the elective as data analytics and the classes taken by extrenak faculty and we needs to pay extra for that otherwise we can choose the taxation or coropertation which is not having the additional fees. While comparing the whole it is worth for the college. I mean happy with that.

Campus Life

Campus life at marian is very peaceful and the students can enjoy the college life with Marian i can recommend the other students to join the college for there UG or PG courses and they cab have there study and enjoyment there

Admission

Comparitevely the fees the bcom graduation is high fees while comoaring to the other courses like BCA BBA and BSW.as this is an autonomous collge they are having the separate website for the admission process

Faculty

The Faclty teaching there is providing the full support for the extra curicular activity .as ususal normal marking systems arr having and we are having the 3 internal exams before semester end examination and marking for these exams are out off 5, 7.5 ,7.5 respectively

Night Life

The most of the programs are happening during the night the latest program happended there is the x mas celebration that is an 3 days program happened from 4 to 9 during the night. The normal classes is from 8 am to 1.30pm

Best Decision of My Life

Placement Experience:

i am currently on 2nd semester. In my knowledge the campus placements happens during the 5th or 6th semester. There are many companies visited and many no. of offers from different companies. Companies such as HDFC bank, VI, Airtel, Apollo, Colgate, DHL, etc. According to the report, 99 UG and 277 PG students were placed during RCSS placements 2023. The median package offered to the UG students was INR 6,05,000 per annum. According to the reports, 27% students in UG courses secured placements as on June 30, 2024. After getting the degree, I plan to pursue higher education by doing MBA in a renowned good college and along withh that focus on being an ACCA affiliate.

A College that you can consider for building your career

Placement Experience:

Around 70% of students in our college are getting placed in different companies each year. Placements start at the beginning of final semester. Before appearing for placements college give training to clear aptitude tests and interview. Some of the companies that hire from the college are Tcs, Wipro, Federal bank, deloitte, KPMG, EY. EY made 35 offers last year. TCS made around 50 offers last year. Deloitte made 38 offers last year. The highest package offered is 4lpa and average package offered is 3lpa. Profiles offered are Analyst, Tax analyst, financial analyst, customer service associate, audit associate. Every company has 2 or 3 rounds and students have to clear these three rounds to get placed. Minimum eligibility to appear for placements is 60% in each semester. My plans after getting the degree is to find a job or go abroad to do my masters degree. Our college has also strong alumni which makes us easier to get placed in different companies. Placement cell is there in my college

Nice college.high education preference.

Admission:

Good institution. as I got admission on a merit basis. More than that the management facilities are also available. The admission application date is all for about two months. An interview for students is available before they are entering the campus. Overall it's a good college.

Remarks:

Because kerala university is the number one university in kerala, and iam choose bcom tax for my carrier option, kerala university provide only 4 govt or aided college for this course. My college is Accredited A grade by UGC.

Remarks:

We are facing shortage of water at summer. Its a drawback. And again the most important drawback is that our college don't have a proper placement cell. The students are not practically equipped in their degrees.

My Marian Journey

Applied to- SJCC Bengaluru, Christ University Bengaluru, Jain University Bengaluru. Got accepted into both Christ and Jain but since i was a waitlisted candidate in their institute, I had already joined Marian so that i dont have a delay in my curriculum. The main reason for not choosing Christ or Jain was also due to the fees structure, I had a brief understanding of the fees structure and living expense in posh cities hence why i chose Marian and also for the particular reason being it my home state. Didnt get rejected from SJCC, but got a call from them to join on sports quota basis since i was an athelete in school. I was unable to make the tryouts since i was injured.
