MY COLLEGE DIARY

Eligibility for the course was to attain a minimum of 50 percent in every subject in 12th grade. Application forms were given in the front office of the college and we filled out our details. We submitted all mark sheets at the time of the application process. July 2 was the application date. There was all good at the time of application

I chose BCA because I was very well interested in Computers and thats why I selected computer science in 12th grade. I loved coding. Faculties were very much fond of students and cared for them in each and every subject. They gave special classes to achieve good marks in difficult subjects. Faculties were highly qualified with MCA, B. ED, NET, and SET. Some faculties were Ph.D. qualified. BCA exams were almost in time and fewer poseponds only happened. Exams were a little bit tough and were very standard

In the 6th semester, placements were happened. Companies like Wipro and TCS were there for to give us direct placements. NIIT representatives approached BCA department Head to provide their course give placements provided by them after the course completion of BCA and NIIT COURSE. I then joined NIIT from the second semester of BCA course. 14 students out of 36 got placement in WIPRO. The criteria to join the placement was to get passed in every semester without any back logs and there should be a minimum 60 % of marks in every semester. The package of placement offered was 18000 Rs starting and offered Master degree also provided by WIPRO itself. My plan was to get job immediately after the course and I joined job in September 2016 itself as Software Developer in Java.

The cost for the course was Rs. 40000 per year. Scholarships was not provided. There was no consideration for the fees. Even we join in merit also we had to pay Rs. 40000. We had to pay the fees before the exams. We were not allowed to write the exam without paying the fees.

My college was super in all fests. October was the month usually the fest comes. We participated in DZONE provided by the college. They encouraged us to participate infest and we were very interested also because of the support from the facilities. They have also joined us in the fest to have joy with us. There were many clubs present and provided a Zero period for that. We joined a film club. There were other clubs like Communicative English club, NSS club, etc. Our college conducted sports and it was very important to participate in any of the items by each person.
