Course Curriculum Overview

4

My choice is based on my future, since my parents are doctors and we have a hospital, so I came into this course. The curriculum is pretty through, it's got pretty much everything covered. Not much room for improvement I feel like. The exams are not super hard, and the frequency is just right, there is enough time to prepare and enough time between two exams.

Internships Opportunities

3

Since we are doctors we don't get job offers right after we graduate. The stipend is pretty less as well. No projects, during internship we just have to go to each department and observe, and do hands on work where necessary.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for me is around 1.2cr, since this college is deemed now every student, no matter the neet rank or marks has to to pay around 20lakhs per anum. students may apply for scholarship if any.

Campus Life

5

There is one fest per year and the name of the fest changes everytime, it is pretty entertaining, they're conducted usually during the end of the year. The Central library has every book regarding medical sciences, literally every book Playing sports is highly encouraged, and there are clubs as well, you can join any.

Hostel Facilities

4

A bed, a study table and chair, a cupboard, a rack and bathroom. The meals are good quality and the menu is pretty versatile. No process as such, if the hostel has open spots anyone studying here can join if they pay the fee, but it can get a little expensive.

Admission

This is the only college I applied for. And I got the admission, we looked at other colleges as well, like Apollo, mamatha, and prathima. But we decided this was the best out all the others, the overall infrastructure, the faculty, accessibility freedom, hostel, etc were definitely better than the rest of the colleges. Like I said, I did not apply to any other colleges. When I joined it was not deemed, so you had to pay your fees depending on the marks you got in neet, NEET is the only exam to get into the college, right now there are no cutoffs to get into the college, the only requirement is to qualify neet, the admission process is relatively easy as well, just get all your certificates in order and you should be fine

Faculty

5

Like I said, the faculty is top of the line, there are about 7-10 faculty per department for a batch of 200 students. In my first year dr.s.naveen sir, dr.i.naveen sir, dr.sridevi ma'am, dr.rajesh Menon sir were extremely helpful, they were friendly and they were willing to go to any length to help me. I don't like dr.raja sree ma'am, she tends to judge people, discourage them, and is in general super mean. We have occasional slip tests, two internals and one prefinal, they are not super hard, the professors teach mostly related to the exam(since the subjects are broad it is difficult to stay focused entirely on the exams). They should be pretty easy if atleast one revision of the topics are done. Almost everyone passes, there are very few who fail, maybe 3-5 people or none. The course is very relevant to the curriculum.

Night Life

4

There is a Fully equipped gym, multiple cafeterias and they recently opened a barista cafe on campus, many public areas to chill etc. Hostel timings for girls is 9:30 and for guys it's 10:00 The basketball court, turf, near campus, the campus is absolutely safe.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course as I wanted to be a good doctor in India. The course's total duration is 5 yearand 6 month including internship. All department have almost 30 faculties. They teaches us theory in projector at lecture hall. Practical classes are conducted separately in individual department. We have to pass out all the subjects unlike engineering colleges there is no option of having backlogs if we fail in our exams, and so have to pass all the exams without fail. During the course, which is pretty chill during the regular days, and have exams every semester (6months) which are held by the college itself and the finals are held by the University every 3-5 semesters (no. of sems change every year ).
