Likes

Good environment of college ,placed at the center of the city .
Good placement of mining branch, faculty of mining also provides internship/ training opportunities to students.
Good and well experienced faculty are there.

Dislikes

As like other government colleges less festive fests etc are organised.
Old buildings with less maintenance as like other govt. Colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college Ctae has top branch which is mining engineering, this branch has almost 100 percent placement of students every year.. Companies like vedanta , adani , tata steel , jsw , some cement Companies also visits every year for recruitment..

Class Size: 23Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As per our branch mining. Students after completion of 2nd year we get opponents to take training of 1 month at coal india ... boys are given various options to go to training a coal india. , girls are given opportunity to go to Tata steel for 1 month training ... after 3rd year completion students are given opportunities to go to metal industries. Like ventage, hcl etc

Placement Experience

As we already know mining branch has the highest placement.. in ctae our branch has the highest percent of placement with good packages .. the median package students get is 8 lpa avg.. Overall good placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Examination fees are there, other than the semester fees excluding hostel fees.. there are scholarship programs available too,which students can apply according to their eligibility criteria..overall less fees compared to other private colleges.

Campus Life

Campus life is good with good environment... campus has temple , sports complex etc ... many clubs are also avaliable for the improvement of student personality... Other facilities like gym , tennis are also avaliable for overall development

Admission

CTAE is best btech college in udaipur, but the placements through this college for cse is not so high. It's around 4-5 lakhs best branch of CTAE is mining and agriculture.The average package of this branche is 7 -8 lakhs

Faculty

The mining engineering department has the best and experienced faculty .. most of the teachers had completed their education from Reputed institutes like IIts . Have good experience in mining field and with great skills of teaching .

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

FRom the 5th semester itself the student becomes eligible for securing internsips and they bring various companies too the colege too for the same and i am doing my 2 months internshipi at 8 bit solutions Jaipur too which i got at the internship fair at our college. and it is going really well i have learnt so much and also how to apply it in real eorld. approx 20 companies visited our college this time and various of my fellowmates also got internships in different companies, although there are only small companies but what i think is i will try for off campus placemnets more after this.

Actual reality of JECRC college from a recently graduated.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are up to the mark. Students become eligible for placements from 6th semesters onwards. Even with recession going on during my time, the placement cell somehow managed to get good recruiters in the college and get a lot of students good offers. More than 160 companies visited to give more than 2000 offers. Highest package was from my class only which was 52 LPA and average was 6.8 LPA. Microsoft offered the highest placement and the profile was software developer. Almost 75 percent students got placed. I have completed my degree and I'm not starting my own thing. Not pursuing this sector anymore.

Collegeof technology and engineering udaipur is good for study but not for extra circular activites

Glimpse of CTAE

I applied for many colleges like AMU(Zakir Hussain College of engineering and technology), Jamila Milia Islamia University for B.tech and appeared for JEE. I choosed CTAE because I did a thorough research about college and found it appealing for me. Yes I didn't get into Jamia Milia Islamia University because of their cut-off and didn't get any decent college during JEE councelling, that's why I chose CTAE. The admission is done through REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process), it accepts JEE score and 12th percentage as selection criteria and released ranks on their basis. It doesn't hold exam for selection process. We have to fill choices of colleges as oer our desire. They don't specify any cut-off particularly rather than they release ranks after evaluation of JEE score and 12th percentage. There are three rounds of councelling first round is for other state students, second round is for Rajasthan's students and third round is for upward movement. The upward movement is for students who don't get desired college so by applying for upward movement they can get better college and branch....Read More
