Likes

The college has good and clean campus with good library.
The hospital is multi-speciality hospital which is in the canpus and has ample amount of patient flow.
There are 3 canteens in the campus each with good food

Dislikes

Bathrooms sometimes don't work and it gets annoying
Management of the college is slow and its a headache that can improve
Some rules of conduct i find unnecessary

Semester pattern makes it feel like giving exam in every 3 months. Curriculum is good. Practical hands-on experience is the best thing from which you learn which is available. Curriculum gets stretched due to semester pattern sometimes they teach very fast or sometimes with normal pace.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is to be done in mgm hospital only For 6 months after completing 4 years Its a good process. Students learn alot from it. Workload is high. Interns manage IPD and OPD both the departments with the help of teachers and master students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees per year 200000 First year deposit 250003 (refundable) Bus and other small fees 25000 Exam fee per semester 4500 Total there are 8 semesters. 4 year fees 800000 It is increased to 250000 per year from this year. Hostel fees 200000 for everyone. No scholarships are given from the institute.

Campus Life

College environment is supporting and peaceful. Workload is high in senior years but its manageable. Campus is safe. A lot of activities keep happening around the campus. Sports activities are good. Canpus has basket ball ground and football ground

Admission

I directly applied for MGM SOP. They have different CET called MGM CET which is like 150 marks exam. No negative marking. Admission are given on the basis of it. For which you can apply from the official mgm website

Faculty

Physiotherapy college has 10-15 facilities For all 4 years Faculty to student ratio is 1:25 Faculties are good , smart, supportive and knowledgeable. Exams happen in semester pattern. University at the end of semester and each semester has a internal exam called mid semester examination. There are total 8 semesters in the full course. Exams happen in very serious manner. Teachers are supportive.

Great patient exposure, way lot to learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of my family. I had seen my grandfather go through this treatment earlier and made me curious to learn more about the same. The student ratio is around 45/50. Intake increase every year. The faculty is highly qualified and experienced. More focus is done on the clinical part. Recently research has opened a lot of doors for students. Various competitions are held on that basis. During our syllabus, we had termly exams. Which were comparatively difficult, since if an individual has not cleared the terminal as well as preliminary they are not eligible for the university exam. It can be because of marks or lack of attendance. So it is very important to be apt with both things.
