I have liked the disciplinary like the dress code and all
Campus is big enough for 5k students. It can handle that much of students
Liked the experienced teachers in the college

Dislikes

Campus doesn’t have any AIR CONDITIONED CLASSROOM which is required the most in these Hot Summer Days
Teachers are too strict and never compromises
Very strict for the attendance which should be done .

After coming to this college i have probably made the worst mistake of my life . I cant be myself , like the hairs and all. I can less focus on socializing with friends and family , less focus on my improving my skillset as they always keep our time (even after clg , staying at Home) Booked with some trash and shitty ass assignments which they never check. And provides them 2 days before they ask us to submit

Among private colleged i only got chances in this college as there was a slight rumor of having the best Placements which is not true , and i got to know this after coming to the campus and hearing from the seniors.

Faculty

Some faculty are good and some are too harsh and rude to the students. Ruma Ma'am and there are few as im new i dont know the names those are the best Faculty I know. Subhashis Rana and Our Deen is probably the worst faculty In a year the take 2-3 sem exams and 4-6 mid term examinations. Most students get the backlog in most years as the faculty members who they hate personally do these things intentionally. The course curriculum isn't as relevant as other colleges.

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
