College campus is quite good, neat and clean
Ragging free campus, this is the best thing about our college
Few faculties are quite well with good domain knowledge

Dislikes

Few teachers are quite rude to the students
There is no proper placement cell for btechs.
Accounts department and Hod for btech department does not communicate well with the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to opt fot this course as i have great interestsin computer science engineering.There are lots of faculties in our college as per the students.Faculties are quite helpful but improvements are required in supporting students for various domains.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 375400 per year

Placement Experience

As I am in the 3 rd year of the course,our placements starts from 4th year .Various sales companies are visiting to the campus.Average package offered by these companies are 250000 lpa and highest is 300000 lpa.20% percent of the students are getting every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees was set from the beginning and did not increased in the middle of the course.But every new year percentage of fees increases for the newer admissions for each of the courses.I did not get any scholarship from this college .

Campus Life

Life at the campus is quite friendly.Annual fests take place every year.Books are also available for the students as our college is having two libraries.Classrooms are also quite big with available projectors .

Admission

My admission process was quite smooth.I gave Wbjee as well as JEE mains examination and got eligible to persue btech from nshm knowledge campus durgapur.I found application fees with details on reaching to the college and then finally took admission.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

A GOOD COLLEGE WITH GOOD PLACEMENT , SPORTS FACILITY.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I decided to take up Clinical Psychology over Applied Psychology for my Master's. I searched for colleges and Universities near my home town Durgapur. Most of the colleges offer an M.A. or M.Sc. in Applied Psychology. NSHM Durgapur and Kolkata offer M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology.
