Likes

The reading room is available 24/7 and it is equipped with AC and the washroom facility is available there drinking water is also available it has good sunlight
The library is very big it has printing facility UG and PG reading area and big collection of reference books
The classrooms are very big of more than 300 people sitting capacity

Dislikes

The building structure and paint of the buildings could have been better
The AC of the classroom sometimes don't function
Less seating capacity in canteen and campus is big so we have to walk too much

The course is very relevant and it helps us to learn the better ways of taking history with patients and the clinical skills are taught to us during clinics and basics are also taught well in 1st year subjects

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for OBC st and sc students are 50% concession on tuition fees the fees for general students are approximately rs 100000 rupees for 1 year the students can get a student loan and then paid of during internship when they are paid their stipend

Campus Life

The annual fest is called plexus and there are many monthly activities organised by the college council the library is very close by and that are variety of books available classroom is smart board equipped there is a large stadium nearby multiple social clubs are held

Admission

The admission was done via neet examination we had to apply to DTE of Goa they prepared a merit list and counselling was done. Merit list was prepared The neet examination is held every year the eligibility criteria for the examination is 12th pass in PCB

Faculty

The faculty are very intelligent and very considerate they catered to all are needs with sgds tutorials and self directed learning they help us to learn better ways of learning.the teach us from the basics

Goa medical College reveled

Course Curriculum Overview:

The academics here is really great. They focus much on clinical aspects rather than on non clinical. The SGDs( small group discussion) and SDLs( self Directed learning) are better approachable form to reach students here they make a small group of five students per teacher for the discussion and gives a topic for the discussion. One improvement I will suggest is to use animated videos more in lectures rather than written slides. Frequency and timings of exams are perfectly coordinated (somewhat frequency is more????) that gives a better time and pressure to revise the contents taught.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is cbme based this meets the international standards and students can attampt usmle aslo. The course give u exposure to real world scenarios. The course is good as it is. The exams take place every semester and end of the year finals. Moderately difficult to clear.
