Course Curriculum Overview

3

I decided to choose this course when I was 14. Curriculum is well balanced for students so they can easily prepare for real world applications. Timings of classes can be changed. Exam timings are good but frequency is high.

Internships Opportunities

2

Internship is for 1 year after final year of MBBS. Work load is too high during internship in this college so preparation for NEET PG should be difficult. College gives you stipened around 30000 during internship

Fees and Financial Aid

FEES-1.5L/yr for AIQ Students No scholarships for AIQ students Don't select college according to their year of establishment, select a college whose infrastucture is good. There is no sports grounds in my college.

Campus Life

1

My experience with campus life is not so good because infrastructure is too bad including hostel and practical labs, disection Hall. Sports activities are zero according to me, there is no sports ground and gym in the college.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel infrastructure is not good not bad but inside the room there is only one bed given to you and small almirah. Mess meal quality is very poor so I prefer tiffin services. Registration process for hostel is from academic section.

Admission

I choose this college over other colleges beacause its year of establishment is 1852, but i found that year of establishment doesn't matter in MBBS as much we think. Admission process is too easy. You have to get good score in NEET and from counseling you if you get this college then go to academic section and they will guide you properly.

Faculty

1

Students relation with faculties is not good. Faculties are not approachable mostly but some faculties are good. Exam difficulty level is medium. Anyone can easily pass the exam. Mostly questions asked are from PYQs

Night Life

2

Good cafeterias around the college in area of 5 kms . Very cleaned, hygenic library present in college campus so need to join outside library . Collge timings are from 9 to 5. Best hangout places near college is Dauna Paula, Panaji and beaches . Locality is safe.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The academics here is really great. They focus much on clinical aspects rather than on non clinical. The SGDs( small group discussion) and SDLs( self Directed learning) are better approachable form to reach students here they make a small group of five students per teacher for the discussion and gives a topic for the discussion. One improvement I will suggest is to use animated videos more in lectures rather than written slides. Frequency and timings of exams are perfectly coordinated (somewhat frequency is more????) that gives a better time and pressure to revise the contents taught.
