MAITREYI'S OVERVIEW

What made me choose this course is that it deals with not one but three subjects that is Botany,Zoology and Chemistry.Also one advantage of this course is we can pursue our post graduation in any of these subjects.The curriculum is decent we have 3 labs a week having 4hr duration and it actually helps a lot to learn.The teaching methods of some teachers are good they even take you on field or show you equipments that are required.The area of improvement is that they put so much emphasis on assignments and files which feels unnecessary.The exams happen in dec-jan and may-june and the difficulty level is moderate if you do pyqs you can solve half of the paper so that's not an issue.

The tuition fee is 14880 and it depends from course to course but it doesn't exceed than 20000 as far as I know.You just have to pay examination fees every semester that also depends on the subjects you choose and is generally under 2000.There are also scholarships available for Obc,ews,sc,st. There are several internships provided by the college also and others.I have taken part in many events and societies like Nss.

The overall campus life is decent and many events and function happen throughout the year.The Annual cultural fest RHAPSODY happen in February and is a 2 day event comprising various stalls of food games and shopping.There are various societies according to one's interest and you can indulge in them to grow and enhance your college life.

The admission is based on CUET conducted by NTA.The eligibility for this course is Physics,Chem,Bio and one language among English/Hindi. The difficulty level of cuet depends on paper to paper and shift to shift.

The Faculty to student ratio depends on the course also.The highest department is BA prog then Life sciences having more than 60 students while some like zoology hons has only 30 so it depends. The Faculties are well qualified and most of them help you if you approach them out.Though some are not that cooperative but you will get through it.The teachers are quite approachable you will find them in their respective department rooms or you can just call them or leave a message in the class group most of them reply on time.
