Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science is in rising demand in current world. Everything is being operated through computers. So choosing computer science assignment as the main course was not very confusing for me. It provides us with lots of knowledge and job opportunities throughout our career.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Most are paid internships, they doesn't offer you stipends instead they ask for money in order to book slots and provide you with internships. Various internships messages are circulated through official University group but all are paid and asks for money.

Placement Experience

When I got admission i got the info that the placement and campusing department of this college is very good. But as days are passing the rate of placement is decreasing rapidly. This year very few students got placed. I am planning to complete higher education and then go for jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is available only for excellent students in the university. 1st sem fee was 95000. Hence forward the remaining 7 semesters have a fee structure of 75000 each semester. There are seperate medical test fee for 1st year students. And some extra charges before each semester.

Campus Life

Overall experience is not good. No campus life at all. Clubs are there but there are no proper use of those clubs. Only clubs which are related to educational stand are getting favoured and encouraged by the faculties and higher authorities. Sports club has the worst faculties and facilities. Music club is only running because of the participants, no support from the authorities. Very small campus, there is no ground and it almost feels like we are staying locked up in a prison from 9:30 am to 5:15 pm.

Admission

We had to book a seat for Rs 10,000. The criteria was to get 70% in Physics Maths computer and English. After getting the result we went to the admission cell and confirmed my seat in the college. Everything was very well placed before us.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

A GOOD COLLEGE WITH GOOD PLACEMENT , SPORTS FACILITY.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
