BSc physics, the subject deals with derived mathematics and the theory of natural phenomena. That is the main reason I chose a college 1:10 is faculty-student ratio Faculty are highly qualified The teaching methods are entirely different from another colleges they take classes as very interesting and curiously

Tution fees are around 3000 and there are vast opportunities for scholarships in Tmgc college like e grand, central sector, post metric scholarship, etc. They provide some campus jobs like plumbing, electricity jobs, etc. since the students are good at doing very good job

Campus Life

The college provides a good library set up since we are able to read some good scientific books. There is a vast scope in research fields like astrophotography and astrodiscovery the college provides a telescope for the sky watch section of our college.

Admission

Plus two in science is the eligibility of the course The application is thought online portal Calicut university site . There are a lot of reservation like obc, ews, sports, disability etc It must be faster .

Academic excellence in a beautiful campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

From 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. Our college has the best placement cell in kerala. Around 30% students are placed each year in our college. Companies like federal bank, infopark invites students from our college for their interviews. The degree mark is not considered, all we have to is just pass the subject and obey the rules of the placement cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose geography for my graduation because of it was a rare course and only provided by three govt college in Calicut University. It is a good course and it's sub disciplines are very nice to connect with others. Frequency of exams are based on the time duration of finishing the semesters. Usually it's two sem exams in a year and with some other reasons it may get delayed. In course of three years all 6 semesters and it's exams along with project and practical will be finished. Field trip is the main attraction of the course.

Remarks:

Im my time 2011-2014 only the female students had to wear the uniforms. At present uniform is mandatory. I think that was not equality at nobody considered it. No girl protested against that problem.

NAAC accredited with A grade. Reputed institution in the region. One of the best colleges under Kannur University in every aspects. Can reach by Bus or train( a passenger train station is present in a walkable distance). Regular transport available. Close to town area. Renowned NCC sub unit. Produced many talents be it in Academics,sports or arts, To quote one indian international football players CK Vineeth and Shahal Abdul samad were students of Sree Narayana College Kannur. Faculty of physical education was awarded the best physical education faculty award in Kerala State. Has experienced faculties in almost every departments.

The eligibility for the course is to attain 80% above marks in the higher secondary examination. And want to have extracurricular activities like sports, arts, nss, NCC etc for admission advantage. the application process is through the single window admission process of Calicut university the application form will be obtained from the Calicut university online website, the application fee is less than 900. As a government college reservation benefits are high if you are a sports person, or low caste, those can get reserved seats for admission there are also seats that are reserved for political parties on the campus, Are you a politically recommended person you will get admission easily.
