Academic excellence in a beautiful campus

My favourite subject is biology. I have applied for zoology course but unfortunately there is no seats available at that time, so I chose Botany which is also my favourite. The curriculum is perfect and prepares for real world. More practical sessions are needed. Every 6 months there will be semester exam. Which is not that much tough.

There is no such thing about intership. We are not really aware of that. But now there is a placement cell working in the college. Regularly updating about job opportunities in WhatsApp group. Which is good

There is only a small amount of fee which is charged from the students because this is a government college. Also my course is science based and I have 3 subjects were lab is mandatory. So I have paid around 5000 in a year for lab and exam related fees. There will be a caution deposit between 1000 to 1500, which is refundable. There are students who received scholarships for their studies support. Which is only given to financial backward students whose annual family income should not exceeds 5 lakh. Also if the students are from SC or ST category they are exempted from paying any kind of fees. I have received addmission based on my sports related achievement not based on exam merit based. I have represented kerala in national level. This is the best college. Which is only 4 km away from my home. Overall atmosphere and academic is good.

Annual day functions are the best they are held in the month of February to March. Also there is college kaloltsavam. I have participated in thiruvathira. Also there are different types of cultural programs held in all months. Library facility is good and perfect size for my college. Majority needed books are available there. Very calm and quiet library. There is projector available in every department. The class rooms are perfect in size. Sports activities are not regularly conducted. Which is not good. There are so many clubs focused on individual development.

I have applied for ZGC college, providence college, SN college etc, but due to my low mark in 12th std didn't make to it. Also I have applied through my sports quota, i have represented kerala in national level. But there is also not chances in the mentioned colleges because they have given admission to sports students who have achieved more than me. Finally Art's college seat have given to me. This college is only 4 km away from my home. The admission process is easy and quick. No complications at all

The faculty to student ratio is very manageable. 1 teacher for 10 students. The relationship between faculty and students is fair and okay. They are 24 hours ready to support in studies. Ranjana mam in botany is my favourite teacher. She is good in teaching and keeping friendship with students. There are 6 semester for an undergraduate program. The exams are easy. No one failed in my class due to academic scarcity. But one boy failed due to not attending the exam.

Even though we have 24 hours open campus. Students not usually hangout all time. We can do whatever we want. There is no one to do supervision. But there is cameras is some places. Also hostel facilities mainly for female students. The place near Library is my favourite hangout place in college which is called as Thoni. Night life in college also good. We only stayed upto night in any program days only
