Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose this course as the science department faculty was really nice and all the lab work and lectures were good. Teachers were very friendly and the attendance system was also there at that time. Exams were pretty difficult.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is annually charged, Mine was around 8000 at that time including all the lab charges, the exam fee was however charged separately. During my time hike was around 1000 rupees only. I didn't get any scholarship.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is good. The campus is amazing and so is the location. I didn't attend fests and all but I guess It was good. The union was proactively working. As compared to the rest of DU College the infrastructure was better.

Admission

It was a very smooth process. I saw the cut-off in newspapers. And then I went to college to get myself admitted. It was divided according to the courses. Forms were available, and a DD of an equivalent amount was to be submitted. 3% relaxation for girls was there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the cource, as it is a practical cource with a core mathematical idea in it, a comprehensive knowledge about the mathematics world and the practical tools required in data science. The curriculum prepares one for the real world applications or furthur academic pursuits, some factors can be improved in the syllabus definitely and for the frequency and timing of exams is 3 hours for the 90 marks paper which is fare enough according to the difficulty level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally like all the subjects I studied till now and I had a lot of interest studying Computer system architecture mathematics for computing and python so all the subjects I am loving them and now in the second semester the subjects have now got I am also having interest in them so talking about the influence I really liked and it is shaping my skills coming to the concept that how it is preparing me for the real world applications I don't think that in DU or in this curriculum we are being taught how we need to apply these skills in the real world that we need to do it ourselves only by actually opportunities and hands on experience the course should include more such activities practicals that gives students exposure of the real world application that would be my advice and the teaching methods I think the teacher should take more interest in the class and they should not saying that the student want study I think the teachers have such a mind said since the students don't fail of attention in the class they lose interest in teaching I think that almost and entire month is wasted this to give exams while almost everybody studies 2 days max to max 2 days and most of the people study at night one day before exam so wasting and entire month to take 5 6 subject exams for student is just to waste of time I think they should give less brakes and comes and and this exam session in maths to Max 15 or 20 days and the difficulty level is not at all difficult and you the paper comes very easy and you can easily pass it if you are studying even on last 3 days of the exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented

Placement Experience:

Actually, when we entered in a college, we saw the placement portal of the college. It showed like eight or nine l p of average package, and we were like quite delighted, like we can secure that placement.Even our professors also motivated us for placements. But actually seniors told us about the placements scenario of the college. The reality is that only three or four courses actually get placed.Even those three or four courses less than thirty forty max, fifty percent students get placed. This is the.Reality of placement system talking about internship. Most of the people seek for off campus, internship opportunities and to be honest, my career plans are currently are aligned with either preparing for cat and then getting an I.M or preparing for a government job like I b p s bank pure s b I pu
